  • Great place for peace and quiet

"On our first trip to Roatan we decided to stay here and dive basically every morning for a week while spending the afternoons doing as little as possible. We made good use of the hammocks on the deck and the dock. The kitchen is really well set up (including an espresso machine!). There were a few kids around so our kids kept themselves busy playing, including jumping off the second level of the dock. The reef nearby is really great for snorkeling; we saw morays and turtles nearby. Beautiful."

  • Amazing location & amenities!

"This was our first visit to Roatan and it ended up being an idyllic week spent in paradise. We were travelling with our 2 children (ages 8 and 11) and all 4 of us loved this accommodation! We stayed on the main floor unit of Villa Del Playa which was very practical for convenient access to the patio, pool and just steps to the beautiful beach. Our unit and the entire property was very clean. There is a full time maintenance person who keeps very good care of the property and is available if you need anything. As well, there is a security guard that is on site through the evening and night to ensure no uninvited guests come onto the property. If you are looking for a quiet spot on the West End of the island without too many tourists, this is the ideal location. One of the greatest advantages is the accessibility to the Blue Channel for world class snorkeling. We took the kayaks (which are available to guests at the condos) out to the reef every day and we saw amazing marine life each time. Water taxis are easy to hail from the dock directly in front of the condo and are an affordable way to travel along the beach. (Look up the Three Sister Charters - (504)9984-2975, Raymond, our boat captain was always there when we needed him and took us on a private tour out on the boat for a reasonable price. West end village is just a short 10 minute walk where you will find an abundance of dive shops (highly recommend West End Divers), there are many restaurant options, be discerning though as some are overpriced with poor quality food, you can find good food and reasonable prices though with a little inquiry and luck though. Tita's is a small restaurant/bar at the beach just 5 minutes walk from the condo, owned by a fabulous entrepreneurial lady (Tita), she offers delicious burgers, quesadillas and cocktails. Look for the volleyball net out front. West end village still has a fairly chill feel but offers plenty of souvenir shops as well as bars for those looking for some night life. Also to note, we arrived at the start of the low season so less tourists than in peak season, which suited us perfectly. We would highly recommend this property to friends and family!"

  • Wonderful place to stay on the beautiful island of Roatan.

"We enjoyed our stay in this spacious home very much. We had plenty of room for our group of up to 14 people. The kids especially enjoyed the snorkeling and swimming off the dock. We all enjoyed the beautiful morning view on the deck and absolutely spectacular evening sunset views. We found it to be very peaceful and quiet at the house and when we wanted more action we took the taxi to West End where it is more tourist like. Harrison was on site during our stay and took very good care of us. We highly recommend this house. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your house for this time. We loved it!"

  • Livin the dream

"We stayed in the bottom apartment recently for one month. The owner and property managers were accommodating as we did a quick booking. The apartment was clean, fully equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of linens, dishes and seating areas. There is a small balcony outside wonderful for viewing the setting sun. We had them install internet for us as it wasn't included but we had TV with full lineup of stations. Washer and dryer an excellent bonus. There are air conditioners but with ceiling fans and the great cross breezes we only used air four nights. But, I would be remiss not to remind folks that this is an island...and, Roatan has more than it's fair share of no seems (sand fleas, mites etc). There is an aloe plant on the deck which helps relieve the itches. Also, electricity comes and goes as does the water ! Just make sure you have a bucket of water handy in case your lathered up in the shower, otherwise you can always run in the ocean for a dip. This was a very impressive location, best view on Las Palmas."
