  • Wonderful!

"We just returned from a wonderful week at the Pink Orchid. The entire week was as good as we could ever wish....the house was well equipped and so comfortable, the location awesome, and of course the dock and water were AWESOME!!!! We felt welcomed and well informed by the owners and property manager and thoroughly enjoyed the people recommended for fishing and snorkel trips. Reagan and Marty were awesome! We rented cars to do some adventuring, get to restaurants and to play golf, as well as to get to the grocery stores which were were convenient and easy. We definitely hope to return to this area again and would love to stay at the Pink Orchid!"

  • Convenient downtown location with island flair

"If you want to experience a typical island day then this is the place for you. Hustle and bustle on the street on cruiseship day is mind boggling. If you are looking for a quiet place, this may not be for you but it's very quiet at night, so no worries there. We stayed in both units this time and one is larger than the other and the larger unit has a queen bed while the smaller has a double. They are well equipped with dishes and pots and pans as well as having a washer and dryer on the balcony. You are minutes from the beach and backing onto the water and a great restaurant that features island seafood. Walk to the local shops and there is an Eldons grocery store walking distance as well. On cruise ship days you can go into the port to shop for souvenirs or jewelry. All in all a great local flavour to this one bedroom apartment. I would have rated it a five if it had been a bit quieter."

  • Satisfied our every need and then some...

"Not only was Carleen helpful and responsive in initial planning, but the Sunfish Apartment at Villa Delfin exceeded our already high expectations based on website photos and descriptions. For example the delightful swimming pool offered a cooling dip after returning from the nearby beach, and the roof-top patio was perfect for enjoying the sunset with drink in hand. The apartment was spacious and clean, the kitchen more than adequate, the bed firm and comfortable, and the bathroom and ample shower were appreciated. Property manager Lori was very friendly and helpful in recommending excellent dining options. The steep downhill walk to the beach is easy, but returning takes a bit of work so would not be ideal for renters with disabilities. Oh yes, I consider the rates to be quite reasonable."

  • Awesome Stay in Casita Tropical !!!

"We were delighted that we selected Casita Tropical for our most recent trip to Roatan. We were met at the airport by Mark and Deana (our gracious hosts); who also took us to the grocery store on our way to the Casita. The location turned out to be ideal for us, just one minute walk to our favorite dive shop and a short two minute walk to the quaint beach town of West End. The Casita is nestled right in the bay, you really couldn’t get any closer to the water. We had a lovely covered outdoor space and use of the dock. We really enjoyed watching the sun rise in the mornings with coffee, and happy hours during sunset on the dock. The Casita was very inviting, clean and surprisingly spacious (hard to tell from the pictures). Both the bedroom and the bathroom are generous in size, the king size bed was very comfy; we enjoyed being able to spend a lazy rainy day curled up in bed watching the 55” TV. The sitting area has another small TV and we had everything we needed in the kitchenette. I know that after our departure the plans are to expand the Casita to include a full kitchen, which will make it even more perfect. A very private apartment on the bight. We really enjoyed our stay at Casita Tropical and getting to know Mark and Deana. Not only did they provide lots of information on what to see/do/eat while in Roatan, they even took us out for a snorkeling trip on their little boat on a beautiful calm day. We love Roatan, especially the West End area, and we will definitely be booking the Casita Tropical for our next trip, can’t wait! This is a definite thumbs up for us and a fantastic find for a place to stay.!!!"
