  • Wonderful tropical paradise with luxury comfort

"Me and my husbond, two friends with a 18 month child had a wonderful time in a very well equiped Villa Tranquila. Enjoyed the great pool, the Beach, the restaurants, snorkeling, swimming and just getting our pulse right Down, where it more often should be :-) Everybody we met on the Island was very friendly, and we felt very welcome and secure evrywhere. Thank you for a perfect stay."

  • Loved Roatan

"I agree with al the reviews that stated pictures didn't do it justice. There was 10 of us traveling together so we rented 3 units in the Sunset Villas.Location was great. Short walk to diving,( dove with Roatan Divers they were GREAT)eating and dancing. The 67 steps were a bit much to do several times a day (wouldn't recommend to anyone much older than us) was great to have two King beds . My only two complaints #1.the bedroom with the bamboo bed the bed was a little hard I had a rough time sleeping the beds in the other units had memory foam witch made them better. #2. The bottled water unit was not cooled so had to always remember to keep water chilling in the fridge, and was setting on A very small corner of the counter was hard to replace jug with out having an upset. All in all this was a Great Unit an we Loved Roatan and plan on returning!!"

  • This place was perfect for us.

"It is on what almost seems like a private beach and has a great view of the water and is clean, shady, comfortable and a short walk to resorts, restaurants and access to activities without the hassle of being on a crowded beach or a large resort. The condo is one of six (?) units but we never heard our neighbors. It is next to Gumbalimba Park (a nature preserve) and separated from West Bay by the laid back Las Rocas dive resort. The grass in the water right in front of the condo does not invite swimming but there's a "hole" in front of Los Rocas a few feet away and plenty more beach and swimming at West Bay. You can also take advantage of the large pools at the nearby resorts by simply buying a drink or a meal there. The unit we rented (3b) might not be considered luxurious by American standards, but it was very comfortable and had everything we needed (small pool, kitchen utensils, washer/dryer, TV with Satellite, towels, etc.) and covered parking. We have been to Roatan countless times and have stayed in high-end resorts but we highly recommend this condo to anyone who prefers the beach at a good price and without the crowd."

  • beautiful

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at Seagrove Retreat. So many activities from kayaking (singles/doubles with paddles provided) , great snorkeling nearby (gear provided), paddle boards, swimming in the pool or off the dock. Which is always refreshing. Junior, Franklin and/or Tommy (care takers, who are the best!) can arrange most anything you need. From shuttle to and from the airport, to stopping by a large grocery store, and boat taxis. Call Marvin for a boat trip down the coast line (highly recommend this) , or lunch at Hole In The Wall for lunch or other places. Spend your happy hour fishing from the deck of the casita or dock. Mostly small fish so for us catch and release, but much fun. Early in the morning you will see the school bus boat pick up children and a fisherman came by the dock to sell us lobster. Seagrove Retreat is peaceful and quiet, always a breeze so sitting on any of the decks provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The houses are tastefully decorated and furnished with all your needs. All was well maintained and clean. Make sure you stock up at the grocery store as Seagrove Retreat is in a beautiful secluded area, with a rocky road and steep hill to get in and out. There are a fair amount of stairs on the property, we just viewed it as daily exercise. The owners Paul and Julie are delightful and will answer all your questions. Looking forward to our next trip to Roatan and would definitely stay here again!"
