  • MY CARRIBEAN BLISS!

"I will be staying at this lovely condo again this summer! I LOVE this rental & have spent a total of a month there! Here are some reasons why I give this place five stars...the owners are honest and deliver what they promise, the people who manage the property are very accommodating, the building is secure with a 24/7 security guard, it's a short walk to the beach, it has everything you need from a toaster to a washing machine, it is sparkling clean & modern, the beds are comfortable, everything works, it's right above a cool little mall with a deli, restaurants & a pharmacy staffed by a doctor, it has a full kitchen, it's away from the noisy beachfront bars, it's charming & tastefully decorated, it's across the street from Celeste's Restaurant (they compete with the Vintage Pearl for the highest rated restaurants in West Bay on Trip Advisor)...I could go on raving about everything I love about this place, but then this review would become an encyclopedia!"

  • beautiful

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at Seagrove Retreat. So many activities from kayaking (singles/doubles with paddles provided) , great snorkeling nearby (gear provided), paddle boards, swimming in the pool or off the dock. Which is always refreshing. Junior, Franklin and/or Tommy (care takers, who are the best!) can arrange most anything you need. From shuttle to and from the airport, to stopping by a large grocery store, and boat taxis. Call Marvin for a boat trip down the coast line (highly recommend this) , or lunch at Hole In The Wall for lunch or other places. Spend your happy hour fishing from the deck of the casita or dock. Mostly small fish so for us catch and release, but much fun. Early in the morning you will see the school bus boat pick up children and a fisherman came by the dock to sell us lobster. Seagrove Retreat is peaceful and quiet, always a breeze so sitting on any of the decks provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The houses are tastefully decorated and furnished with all your needs. All was well maintained and clean. Make sure you stock up at the grocery store as Seagrove Retreat is in a beautiful secluded area, with a rocky road and steep hill to get in and out. There are a fair amount of stairs on the property, we just viewed it as daily exercise. The owners Paul and Julie are delightful and will answer all your questions. Looking forward to our next trip to Roatan and would definitely stay here again!"

  • Perfect condo at a great property

"About the condo: great size, well stocked, comfy bed. Being in the back of the property didn't bother us one bit, on the contrary: it was always quiet at night. Having the fridge and kitchen was great, we got supplies from the west bay market (one min walk) and made great sandwiches with meats from their deli (they slice it fresh for you, plenty of choices of meats and cheeses, lovely people) About Infinity: phenomenal staff, always ready to make your day a memorable one. Ziggy at the bar deserves a special mention, as well as his Monkey la las. Swiss Chocolate is always smiling, a pleasure to hang out with. Cold beer, great pool, amazing beach and snorkeling. The nachos are plentiful, the fish and chips are great and the fish tacos are really good! About the experience: the beach is lined with restaurants/bars, we would go for a walk for dinner and had some good food! Bananarama's Thirsty Turtle makes great drinks, calzones and curry. And don't miss movie night at the beach on Tuesdays! During the day, we would stay at our beach chair and had chicken empanadas from the guy that sells at the beach. Luis comes around a couple times a day, it's great value and honest food. Also loved the kid who sells fresh diced fruit (in a pack with a disposable fork), $1 gets you a mix of watermelon, pineapple and cantaloupe. Don't miss it. My husband got certified to dive in West End, and the water taxi being in front of the property was great. The same boat waited for him every day, it worked for both parties. West End is cool and worth a quick visit, but there is no doubt that the best place to stay is West Bay! We had a blast."

  • Perfect location, great condo!

"If you are staying in West Bay, there isn't a more perfect location. This was our first time to Roatan and I can't imagine staying anywhere other than West Bay. To be able to swim out to the reef at any time is priceless. The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The property itself is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, the pool is huge and clean and the pool bar is perfect for grabbing a drink to cool off. Finally, renting with the Hedges was as easy as the process could possibly be and they provided a nice info packet with tips and suggestions. I would definitely recommend renting with them if you are looking in West Bay."
