  • The absolute best

"My husband and I stayed in the Toucan at this amazing Seaside Inn for two weeks in February and wished we were still there. If you want a clean, quite, friendly place with the best hospitality ever then this is the place for you. Carolyn the owner is truly an amazing and caring person. Coffee is promtly served every morning and her breakfast are plentiful. I was a little nervous about who we would have to share the space with but was very pleased to see that most everybody that stay's at the Seaside are mature couples. We meat some wonderful people that we plan on staying in touch with. The place is just far enough from all the noise but close enough to the beach. The location is perfect. The island of Roatan does have some power outage but rest asure that at the Seaside Inn you will always have power as there is a backup that comes on immediately so no need to worry. If watching TV is important to you you will be pleased with all the chanel choices. Both my husband and I would stay there again and honestly had no issues whatsoever. The only problem was having to leave Carolyn and our friends. The bonus for me was that I made a friend with another vegan and we both live in the same province."

  • Great location and great property

"We stayed at Casa Rubio for 12 days in the beginning of February and had a great experience. Our party was a 70 year old couple, a 40 year old couple and a 7 year old and everyone was very happy with the house. The house: House was super roomy and built to US standards. Beds were all very comfortable, appliances were all top of the line, air conditioners worked, tv and internet were both good. One shower had temperamental water pressure but we just used the other 2 showers. Plenty of closet and dresser space. The deck was huge with an awesome view, and was partially covered allowing us to sit outside if there was a rain shower or the sun was too much. The owner and groundskeeper were super quick to respond to any questions we had. Getting around: It was our first time to Roatan and the location of the house worked out great. We did not rent a car and got around fine. The house is situated between west end and west bay and either can be reached quickly by water taxi for $3 per person. It is about a 3/4 mile walk to either, and took us about 15-20 minutes with our group. Walking to West Bay was easy enough for everyone in our group and you can make the whole walk and keep your feet dry, but there is a steep set of stairs you have to climb. The walk to West End is doable but there are points that you have to go over rocks or go into the water so don't wear shoes that you don't want wet. Good restaurants in both directions, we especially enjoyed the Creole Chicken in West End. On a side note we hired a local named Cleve Bodden for a island tour on our first day. I can't recommend him enough. Best tour guide I have ever had, and we vacation 2-3 times a year with many tours. You can find him on trip advisor and won't be disappointed. Snorkeling and Scuba: There is a dive shop right on the beach at the house called Clearwater adventures. They were great. Small group great guides and reasonable prices and there are tons of dive spots within minutes of the dock. Sam and Denisse were both awesome to work with. Good snorkeling right in front of the house and awesome snorkeling a short swim or kayak/boat ride away."

  • Amazing Home

"We arrived in Utila with friends and greeted by Blanca and Miranda. After a short tour of the very "rustic" little town they left us at the Coral Ridge House, which is only a few minutes from town. This house was amazing, every amenity you could think of. Top of the line linens, kitchen appliances, furniture. . . and on and on. The views are breathtaking! The reef is right off the front deck. We would swim and snorkel when we weren't diving. The management team they use was fantastic too. They left us with a cell phone in case we had any questions or concerns about anything. We would highly recommend the Coral Ridge House to anyone staying in Utila."

  • Nice Stay

"Our stay at Villa delfin was a great experience. We stayed there for a week, in the Studio unit. There is a few other units on the property including the owners. Carleen and her husband were very friendly and even gave us a lift into town one day. As far as the property goes, it is quite nice and very well maintained and most of all very safe! The Studio apartment is great for a couple. It had all the necessary amenities we needed, and the large refrigerator was great for storing our drinks and food. There is also plenty of parking if you decide to rent a car or scooter which we did as we wanted to explore the island. The Studio sits on the 2nd floor, so you get a nice strong breeze in the evening which was nice. The apartments sits up in the jungle away from the beach. Although you can take a short walk down to the nearest beach area to catch a water taxi, but walking back up the pretty steep hill is not much fun. There are no stores or restaurants nearby, so you have to walk down and catch a water taxi or call one from your unit. Although I think there was a restaurant /resort down by the beach area but we did not try it. So if you prefer to be away from everything and everyone then this complex will be great for you. But if you like the convenience of all the options at West Bay or West end like we did, then you might want to stay closer to the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this rental property to our friends and family. Thank you for your hospitality, Carleen! :D"
