  • family trip

"What a great time. 2 weeks in a beautiful condo on the beach. The condo was immaculate and provided everything we needed. Well, we could have used a couple of sharp knives, but we got those. Buzz and Mark White were fantastic to keeping up with everything we needed. We couldn't be happier. Warning to non strong swimmers. Unless you're a surfer be very careful of the undertow. It's lots of fun in the waves, but it's easy to get pulled out very quickly. The beach is gorgeous."

  • Amazing

"My husband, brother and girlfriend loved staying at Casa La Selva! It was clean, close to the beach, and the pool and outdoor shower were added bonuses. David was very helpful and answered all of our questions right away. The crew kept the house and property extremely clean. It's so close to beach and also felt very safe. My husband took advantage of the great surf across the street and I enjoyed going to yoga classes across the street at Mark and Dave's. Iguana beach club was also great for food, drinks and the pool. I definitely would stay at Casa La Selva again and highly recommend it!!"

  • Magical House on Laguna de Apoyo

"Casa Del Sol is a hidden gem in Laguna de Apoyo. The house is nestled above the shore of the lake with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding rainforest. Relax in the gorgeous infinity pool or in one of the nearby hammocks for a peaceful day of relaxation. Words cannot describe the view and the immaculate grounds surrounding this home. Our family of four (our kids are 10 and 12 years old) stayed at Casa Del Sol and I would definitely recommend this house for any family looking for a peaceful getaway. We all enjoyed hearing and seeing the family of howler monkeys that lived in the trees outside the master bedroom windows. We looked forward to sunrise swimming in the hot springs every morning while listening to the birds and monkeys nearby. The owner, Tamara was so responsive and offered lots of advice on things to do in Nicaragua. Don't miss the chocolate making class in Granada....so fun! Her staff made sure we were well taken care of. Carlos handled any questions we had and made reservations for our activities. He organized a cook for our meals which was fantastic. There are so many activities to enjoy in Nicaragua. We highly recommend going to the Masaya volcano at night....once in a lifetime experience! Maykel was our driver/tour guide for the week. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and just a fun guy. Contact him for all of your transportation/tours at maykel142687@gmail.com Nelly the housekeeper and the rest of the staff kept Casa del Sol sparkling clean throughout our entire stay. Look no further....book this home for your next trip to Laguna de Apoyo. You will be so happy you did!"

  • Casa Sueños...definitely dreamy!

"When we were looking to book a place in SJDS we weren't sure where to start so we messaged a bunch of homeowners. Within minutes Rob responded & really made our decision easy. He suggested sites to see, places to eat, beaches, drivers etc...really helped plan our trip. We had Eli pick us up from the airport in Managua at night and the drive to town is interesting...I wouldn't recommend driving yourself if you are unfamiliar with the roads in Nicaragua. Eli was $120 for our group of 4 and he was friendly, on time, and had a bunch of great ideas for upcoming week stay! We were so excited to arrive at the house...although it was dark when we arrived we were blown away. The house is even more beautiful in person. Waking up the next day we had plans to hit the beach, but once we saw the pool we quickly changed our minds and fired up the blender! What a view!! We spent the rest of the week doing surf lessons, visiting the markets downtown, eating at some of the wide range of restaurants SJDS has to offer, zip lining, and doing a volcano hike! The house seriously has it all and then some. Oh, I almost forgot that we took Rob's advice and hired his cook Katalina for a couple of dinners...if you stay here make sure to hire Katalina! Steak and lobster one night, and swordfish the next!! Wow...that's all I can say. I wanted to bring her back home with me!! Thanks Rob, Eli, and Katalina for everything. Can't wait to return to this dreamy oasis!"
