  • great vacation property

"My husband and I rented the casa with three other friends, but sadly, we had to leave three weeks after arriving due to a medical issue. Our friends remained. We were very impressed with the property and enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool on every hot, humid day. The casa was spacious and relaxing with plenty of room for privacy. We ate most meals in so the kitchen facilities were adequate. A BBQ outside would have been a real bonus. We got to know the family of the owner and they went above and beyond in helping us to make travel arrangements, get bottled water and ultimately, helping us during a stressful period of hospitalization. They offered a great deal of valued advice and even drove us to the hospital on two occasions then visited my husband later in the Managua hospital. We would recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit Granada. The location was great for walking around and seeing the town. Sonia and Stewart Alberta, Canada"

  • Exceed Expectations!

"Casa Culebra served as the perfect setting for our worry-free girls’ getaway! The house offered just the right amount of relaxation, adventure, and luxury. For those of you wondering…yes, the pictures are on point when it comes to the clean and comfortable accommodations you expect to see upon arrival. However, keep in mind what you can’t see that takes the experience to a whole new level. The sunrise and sunset views from this house (and throughout the property) were breathtaking, and the infinity pool quickly became part of our sunset ritual. Elisha, our concierge, truly served as our Ambassador! She was beyond helpful when it came to booking excursions or simply offering ‘life in Nica’ advice. This gave us the feeling of being on vacation, but also gave us a little taste of the local scene. We enjoyed 2 evenings in with Chef Adam, which I highly recommend….not only was he a whiz in the kitchen, but he offered comedic commentary in between courses. We also took advantage of surf lessons with Baldo (he should get an award for patience), which was an incredible experience….especially for those of us that surfed for the first time and GOT UP! Last and certainly not least, the groundkeepers and security of the property were very attentive. It was comforting to know that if and when we needed something, they were nearby and promptly provided assistance. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Culebra, and can say without a doubt, that I am looking forward to a return visit in the (hopefully near) future."

"I would recommend this property to anyone reading this review. The location has plenty of room for family or a large group. The owner and her staff try very hard to accommodate their guest. The house is centrally located and it is very easy to get everywhere you want to go. We were a family of 11 and enjoyed swimming in the pool every evening after getting back from daily outings. We cooked breakfast and dinner at the house every day, the kitchen was will stocked with dishes and utensils. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners which you really need in Nicaragua. We have decided we would love to go back again because we had such a marvelous time. Thank you Gabriella!!"

  • Stay in the "wild" just 30min away from Managua

"We had a great time in the villa. If anything, the description and pictures do not do justice to the amazing views and scenery of this vacation rental. Just 30 minutes away from the city, you can enjoy the diverse biosphere while staying close to all modern necessities. This villa is part of a complex nestled in the forest range overlooking the city of Managua. The property has a great panoramic view of the city, forest and lake, and you can enjoy quiet walks in the surrounding forest. The villa is situated in a large property that hosts one of the best restaurants in the Managua area, so if you don't feel like cooking dinner, just walk over to the restaurant for a great meal, a wonderful atmosphere and amazing views. The area has many attractions, and the house is conveniently located to access them. The host Javier and his staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Besides the obvious support with the house he was super helpful in other ways. We needed some urgent car maintenance and he organized for a mechanic to come and help."
