  • Panama at its best

"This terrific house was home to three couples for five nights in early April, and it could not have been better. The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped, and with three bathrooms, was perfect for our group. The large front porch was our favourite hangout. The staff at Azul Paradise resort next door, which manages the house, treated us like their own guests. And the best part was that because we had access to resort amenities, we had the best of both worlds - private accommodation and kitchen facilities but we used the resort restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. We took advantage of the resort's snorkelling excursion packages and, for a group of scuba divers like ourselves, we were very impressed. The snorkelling was better than many of our dives. If you rent the house, don't miss the opportunity to visit Salt Creek and take a jungle tour. The beach was beautiful, the water was warm and the resident howler monkey was entertaining. It could not have been a better Panama experience."

  • Very nice property in Bocas - totally recommended

"We had a great time in this property. We used all the rooms available to accommodate a large group and the house was impecable. Super clean kitchen with all the necessities and more. The rooms in the second level house were beautiful and the bathrooms as well. Great living room space, too bad that the cable tv did not work. Bill apologised many times for this and it was simply bad luck. The housekeeper forgot our arrival date and the rooms were not cleaned when we arrived but she worked until late at night to fix and clean everything for us. She was super nice as well. Great house if you are looking for a location outside town with great accessibility. Nice balcony and dining table and decent rooms on the ground floor. Would totally recommend and come back as soon as i can!"

  • Stunning property & wonderfully welcoming owners!

"Our time at Casa Sol Y La Luna was incredible. From the owner, Sunanda meeting us at the airport in Boca and taking us grocery shopping the evening we arrived to the hugs we got from her when we left we always felt welcome and that our needs were important to her. The house: OMG the photos do not do the property justice. We arrived after dark so our first impression was of the home. It is lovely. the rooms are a good size and there are 2 bathrooms (one in the master). Fans are in each bed so there was no worry of being too hot at night. Beds were also very comfortable as were the pillows (I often travel with my own pillow as I'm very particular). When we woke our first morning we were speechless. Just a volley of "OMG" and "wow" from us all. The view is stunning, the beach is beautiful, the locals are friendly, the coconuts are delicious and the water is warm. We saw a sloth, several monkeys and tons of birds. The peacefulness was wonderful. Even our kids (13 and 11 yo) did not want to leave. We recommend this property whole heartedly and would return in a heartbeat."

  • Perfect for families! Best in Bocas!

"Our stay at Lucas and Gloria's place was more than amazing!! We decided to make a last minute trip to Bocas from Puerto Viejo. We planned to stay for only 4 nights, but loved it so much, we had to extend to a week, and then really wished we had time for a month or two. Lucas and Gloria were easily able to accommodate our family of 5 and they were such wonderful hosts. The house was very clean, everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space. Our kids absolutely loved it here! The hammock in the living room was a hit with everybody. We got to see monkeys up close every day, and a lot of cool birds we had never seen. One of our favorite parts were the coconut trees! We absolutely loved the fresh coconut water and coconut meat every day. And to be able to get fresh eggs from the hens was great as well. We were also thankful that we were able to do our laundry when we needed. We loved the location- far enough from town so we weren't in the middle of parties and crowds, but close enough to get there easily when we needed to. Lucas also arranged for a boat tour with a local guy and Gloria called a taxi for us when we needed to leave. They had great advice for us on beaches and cool local spots to go to. We definitely got a lot more out of our stay than we would have in a hotel! So thankful that we found this gem!"
