Very nice property in Bocas - totally recommended
"We had a great time in this property. We used all the rooms available to accommodate a large group and the house was impecable. Super clean kitchen with all the necessities and more. The rooms in the second level house were beautiful and the bathrooms as well. Great living room space, too bad that the cable tv did not work. Bill apologised many times for this and it was simply bad luck. The housekeeper forgot our arrival date and the rooms were not cleaned when we arrived but she worked until late at night to fix and clean everything for us. She was super nice as well. Great house if you are looking for a location outside town with great accessibility. Nice balcony and dining table and decent rooms on the ground floor. Would totally recommend and come back as soon as i can!"

"Casa Oceana is lovely house. It's well equipped with everything you might need...kitchenware, blender, utensils, lots of towels. The house was clean & we had no maintenance issues. The bed is comfortable; the AC works well. My favourite part of the house was the large deck...it's the perfect place to lounge & enjoy the sounds of the jungle any time of the day. The house is close enough to Bocas Town to access restaurants & activities, but far enough away to be quiet & peaceful. The yard was beautiful, full of birds & was regularly visited by a troop of howler monkeys.
The caretaker, Javier, is a great resource for learning about the area & arranging tours. He'll even order pizza for you when you can't be convinced to leave the deck & your Spanish isn't good enough to give directions to the delivery guy! He will help as much or as little as you want.
Tera, the property owner, was super easy to communicate with right from my first inquiry. Even when our arrival was delayed & I was emailing from El Salvador, she was always quick to respond.
We enjoyed our stay in Bocas del Toro; it's a funky, quirky bit of tropical fun! If/when we return, we'll definitely stay at Casa Oceana again. Highly recommended!"

"If you’re looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy the jungle and the beach yet still be within walking proximity to town then look no further than Casa de K! As you drive down the road leading to the house, you’ll notice the lush forest on your left and beautiful waves crashing on your right. The house itself is enveloped in beautiful native foliage inviting to many tropical birds that you're sure to enjoy (binoculars and cameras are a must). Howler monkeys frolicked among the trees bordering Casa de K...we heard them almost daily and watched them from the back deck multiple times during our week-long adventure. My favorite was the day we caught glimpses of a baby howler monkey being carried on its mother's back. Such a sweet moment to see and a lasting memory for sure! A few of the standout moments from our time in Bocas and at Casa de K: island-hopping on water taxis, visiting various beaches: (Red Frog, Paunch, Starfish, and Bluff), snorkeling at the blue coconut, relaxing in the hot pools, the botanical gardens, howler monkeys and their offspring, toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, sloths, the tropical flowers, jellyfish, starfish, watching surfers do their thing (while drinking coffee/having breakfast on the front deck), the unbelievable weather (accompanied by a few thunderstorms and rain that cooled us off and put us to sleep as it danced upon the metal roof), amazing dinners in town at El Ultimo Refugio and Bluff Beach at The Hummingbird. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home, Kristin. We were sad to leave and look forward to visiting again. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime!"

"I just got back from a fantastic Panama Vacation! The 4 day stay at Bluff Beach Resort could not have been any more enjoyable! My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights in the secluded Las Palmas Casita and 2 nights in the main beach house Las Olas master bedroom. If you prefer to be a little isolated away from the main house, then Las Palmas is the way to go. There is no AC in any of the rooms but you really don’t need it with the nice ocean breezes and fans. The sounds of the jungle mixed with the waves crashing on the shore were just surreal. The property is gorgeous and fits so naturally in the surroundings. I especially love the how the paths were lit during the night. It gave such a magical walk through the tropical vegetation. A beautiful, quiet beach is just steps away from the front of the property. On the way back from the beach, I showered outside and took a dip it their fantastic pool then sipped cool drinks with fresh limes from their farm under the thatched umbrellas.
We also took an afternoon ride on the horses that were available. The horses were beautiful and well behaved. The guide was very considerate of my girlfriend who had never ridden a horse. We stopped for a refreshing dip at a beautiful secluded spot on the far side of the island. On the way back our guide even pointed out a monkey in a tree that we would have never seen!
The inn keepers, Steve and Karen, really made a huge impression on me. I have stayed at other B&B in the past but Steve and Karen stand out as the best! I felt more like family than a guest. They went above and beyond hospitality by picking us up at the airport, taking us shopping, arranging local tours and taxis, and offering rides when going into town. They were always willing to share their abundant knowledge of the area with stories that entertain as well as inform. Steve even got up in the middle of the night to help a stranded Taxi driver that was stuck in the sand on the only road on our side of the island. I was also very impressed with how respectful they spoke and interacted with the local workers, who did not speak English. You can tell how everyone loved their jobs by how clean and well maintained the property is. Needless to say, they are just wonderful people that will make sure you enjoy this beautiful place."
