  • Everything I hoped for!

"I just got back from a fantastic Panama Vacation! The 4 day stay at Bluff Beach Resort could not have been any more enjoyable! My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights in the secluded Las Palmas Casita and 2 nights in the main beach house Las Olas master bedroom. If you prefer to be a little isolated away from the main house, then Las Palmas is the way to go. There is no AC in any of the rooms but you really don’t need it with the nice ocean breezes and fans. The sounds of the jungle mixed with the waves crashing on the shore were just surreal. The property is gorgeous and fits so naturally in the surroundings. I especially love the how the paths were lit during the night. It gave such a magical walk through the tropical vegetation. A beautiful, quiet beach is just steps away from the front of the property. On the way back from the beach, I showered outside and took a dip it their fantastic pool then sipped cool drinks with fresh limes from their farm under the thatched umbrellas. We also took an afternoon ride on the horses that were available. The horses were beautiful and well behaved. The guide was very considerate of my girlfriend who had never ridden a horse. We stopped for a refreshing dip at a beautiful secluded spot on the far side of the island. On the way back our guide even pointed out a monkey in a tree that we would have never seen! The inn keepers, Steve and Karen, really made a huge impression on me. I have stayed at other B&B in the past but Steve and Karen stand out as the best! I felt more like family than a guest. They went above and beyond hospitality by picking us up at the airport, taking us shopping, arranging local tours and taxis, and offering rides when going into town. They were always willing to share their abundant knowledge of the area with stories that entertain as well as inform. Steve even got up in the middle of the night to help a stranded Taxi driver that was stuck in the sand on the only road on our side of the island. I was also very impressed with how respectful they spoke and interacted with the local workers, who did not speak English. You can tell how everyone loved their jobs by how clean and well maintained the property is. Needless to say, they are just wonderful people that will make sure you enjoy this beautiful place."

  • great place, good vibes, excellent location

"my friend and i stayed at lucas and gloria for 4 nights and it was a great experience overall! we felt at home the moment we got there. the cabin is cozy, clean, we slept like babies and we really enjoyed hanging out on the patio in the morning or for the apéro. beautiful gardens around and the place is very close to bocas town or the beaches (approx. 15 min. by bike either way), yet secluded enough to experience to real bocas. lucas and gloria are super hosts with a very positive attitude and open minded. thanks for this great stay in your little piece of heaven :)"

  • How Relaxing!

"A fabulous stay in the Motmot house. So relaxing with the mountain air and the sound of the river running behind the house. It was great for our family of five. We felt the house and grounds were more spacious than the pictures show. Great tips from the owner, Dirk, for hikes and food. He was a very pleasant host. The Volcan area is more "native" than Boquete, and that was perfect for us!"

  • Perfect beach house rental

"We had the pleasure of staying with Sarah Booth at one of her Casistas on her property in Playa Coronado, Panama. This was like renting your own private beach house. There are four comfortable well appointed and very clean Casitas on her property, each with plenty of living space and all including large fully stocked(pots, pans, utensils, dishes, spices) and appointed kitchens (not kitchenettes, but full kitchens with full sized appliances). You will also have the use of the well appointed and beautifully maintained tropical gardens and lovely pool area with plenty of seating areas and a full outdoor kitchen and separate grill area. From the moment you arrive, Sarah has your every need addressed. She aims to make your stay as perfect as it can possibly be. She and her property managers are experts in everything Panama, and know this beach location well and can recommend local restaurants, places to see, trips to take, if just sitting on the beach and relaxing isn't your thing. The house is walking distance from the beach. The listing for this property is spot on, so what you are seeing on the internet, is completely accurate. Dealing with Sarah when making this reservation was the easiest transaction I made during our entire trip through Panama. Our room had a king sized, very comfortable bed, TV with every imaginable channel (but who needs TV in a place like this) and plenty of storage for luggage and clothing. We also had a large clean bathroom with plenty of space to spread out your stuff. The AC unit and fans worked well for the hot steamy nights, but often the fans were just enough. The privacy this property offers is one of its best features. To be able to enjoy the privacy of the pool in that fabulous yard without the noise and distraction of hotel guests coming and going, was tranquil, relaxing and puts these accommodations in a class by themselves. You wake up to the sound of the birds in the trees outside your window. We were the only guests for two of our four night stay, which was an added bonus for us, but even when we shared the space with other guests, there was still plenty of privacy, lots of room for all and we never felt that our space was invaded or cramped. We stayed with her for four days and wish we could have stayed longer. Sarah and her Casitas are a Gem!"
