  • great place, good vibes, excellent location

"my friend and i stayed at lucas and gloria for 4 nights and it was a great experience overall! we felt at home the moment we got there. the cabin is cozy, clean, we slept like babies and we really enjoyed hanging out on the patio in the morning or for the apéro. beautiful gardens around and the place is very close to bocas town or the beaches (approx. 15 min. by bike either way), yet secluded enough to experience to real bocas. lucas and gloria are super hosts with a very positive attitude and open minded. thanks for this great stay in your little piece of heaven :)"

  • A perfect stay, beautiful house, great location!

"We had a very comfortable stay in this beautiful house in the middle of the hills of Boquete. It was well equipped, plenty of space, comfy beds, lots of big windows and doors for the fresh mountain air to breeze through. There's a lovely big terrace and garden to have meals in or simply sit and watch nature. It's about a 20min walk into town but a very quick drive. The house is on a great resort which has a wonderful spa/pool included in your stay as well as the option to play golf. 2 nights in this place was not enough, I could have stayed all week! tranquil and an escape from reality."

  • The photos don't lie! Great snorkeling too!

"This is a very large house that truly does accommodate the numbers advertised. With many large bedrooms and expansive living space, it has more than enough room for a large group. We were also NOT disappointed with the snorkeling - we found some great coral reefs we could swim to with a lot of variety of fish and other coral life. The beach was pristine, and although the public beach was right next to us, most people respected the sign saying ours was private - and the only time it was busy was on the weekend. The owner was very responsive to all my inquiries, and most accommodating. The person who met us at the airport was lovely, and made sure we had everything we needed to get started. Armodio, the caretaker, was particularly helpful, and we felt very safe knowing he was keeping an eye on the place. All in all, we had a great relaxing vacation and we highly recommend renting this property. We have had a couple of disappointing experiences with renting "unseen" so this was definitely a nice surprise."

  • Casa de K = Tranquil slice of paradise!!!!

"If you’re looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy the jungle and the beach yet still be within walking proximity to town then look no further than Casa de K! As you drive down the road leading to the house, you’ll notice the lush forest on your left and beautiful waves crashing on your right. The house itself is enveloped in beautiful native foliage inviting to many tropical birds that you're sure to enjoy (binoculars and cameras are a must). Howler monkeys frolicked among the trees bordering Casa de K...we heard them almost daily and watched them from the back deck multiple times during our week-long adventure. My favorite was the day we caught glimpses of a baby howler monkey being carried on its mother's back. Such a sweet moment to see and a lasting memory for sure! A few of the standout moments from our time in Bocas and at Casa de K: island-hopping on water taxis, visiting various beaches: (Red Frog, Paunch, Starfish, and Bluff), snorkeling at the blue coconut, relaxing in the hot pools, the botanical gardens, howler monkeys and their offspring, toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, sloths, the tropical flowers, jellyfish, starfish, watching surfers do their thing (while drinking coffee/having breakfast on the front deck), the unbelievable weather (accompanied by a few thunderstorms and rain that cooled us off and put us to sleep as it danced upon the metal roof), amazing dinners in town at El Ultimo Refugio and Bluff Beach at The Hummingbird. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home, Kristin. We were sad to leave and look forward to visiting again. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime!"
