Find chalet rentals near Nantahala Lake

We love being together for holiday and not ever leaving the cabin. Well, except hike to waterfalls. Cookies, Fudge, etc.; Home was very, very nice and all the guys had a blast watching football!! Go Falcons.

Good location for a trip to the north Georgia mountains or activities on Lake Chatuge.

The description of this property does not do it justice and the views are amazing. Very comfortable bed, we saw deer every day, and the hot tub was a bonus after a day of hiking.

This is a wonderful home. Our host was quick to answer any of our questions. The house was immaculate. There were seven of us total, all adults, and there was plenty of space. My three kids and two significant others. My kids are all in college and we went over fall break. We all wish we had more time. This is a home that we will visit again in the future, and stay for a longer time.

We rented this house for a short little trip away. It snowed on the weekend, so that was even better. The layout of the house was perfect for us and our two dachshunds. The area was so quiet and we even saw deer close by in the woods each day. We had a few questions for the owner, but he was very quick to respond and that was very appreciated!

We enjoyed our stay. The log cabin itself is sparkling clean, with beautiful views and plenty of beds for 9 people to sleep comfortably. Communication with owner was fantastic. My only concern is the drive up the mountain, and this is true for all homes on the mountain/lake, that you will have to drive up the steep gravel roads, and there are a number of blindspots along the shared mountain roads (caveat: some places have mirrors to help with blind spots but not all). We encountered cautious mountain drivers fortunately, who shared the road graciously - as only one car can pass at a time. If you are unaccustomed to these roads, a car with good tire traction or four wheel drive would help (though owner said is not necessary). The nearest grocery store is not far in distance but takes awhile to get to due to the curvy mountain roads, so plan accordingly. Be sure to follow the owner’s directions exactly as you will need them to find your way to the chalet (no cell service on the mountain but wifi at the house is good). Nonetheless, we loved the hot tub, satellite tv, the silence and the spacious cabin itself. Everything is easy to find in the kitchen as all cupboards are labeled - makes clean up so easy! Thanks for a restful stay in such a beautiful natural setting!

We had a lovely time and the view was incredible! The house was lovely and lots of room for 5 women to move about!! We had an issue, but owner helped us out so it was fine. The deck was our favorite spot to just sit and lookout at the mountains.
