Julian condo rentals

Uniquely decorated, my week-long stay was pleasant and quiet. Clean. The onsite owners were very friendly and kind. Large, comfy bed. Comes with a stove and wood, but the wall heater was fine for those chilly mountain mornings! Note to people 6' and over, most of the unit has a vaulted ceiling, but some of the space is lost in the bathroom and tiny door off the kitchen. Well stocked with games, videos, kitchen utensils, and books. Very quant!

We enjoyed our stay in this apt. I was pleasantly surprised that it had more space than the photos showed. The location is about a 3' drive to downtown, very quiet and peaceful at night. It was about an 7' drive to Volcan Mountain trailhead (a slightly steep hike but had nice views) and CrossCut Farm where we did apple picking. I noticed another u-pick orchard that you can just walk to from the apt. Jason was responsive to my questions incl restaurant recommendations (he has an album of the local restaurants' menus on the coffee table). Just as shown on the website, there are stairs going to the 2nd floor apt. The bathroom is located in the master bedroom. My son slept on the futon which was comfortable (it feels more like an air mattress vs a hard futon). The apt had extra sheets, towels and comforters in the closet. It is equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, measuring cups, cooking and eating utensils. Jason provided tea, coffee, spice rack and paper goods incl Saran wrap and foil. There is no dishwasher, if that impt to you.

Campgrounds with pretty much everything. Games, BBQ pits, showers, horse stalls, grocery store, even pizza. Full hook ups for RV. Camp site is in the high desert, so camping is on dirt, but there are well maintained trees and even small cabins for rent. One of the best maintained campgrounds I have seen.
