Penobscot condo rentals

This was a perfect place to stay. We were within a 30 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. There is a great water view and we could come and just sit outside and enjoy the view after a day of strenuous hiking. Close enough stores to grab what we needed to eat at home. It was a great for the 2 of us.

The first thing you notice upon entering the apartment, is that the online pictures do not do it justice!! It is a stunning view. It is exceptionally clean in every single crack, corner, and crevice. The kitchen is well stocked with things you may need. There are plenty of blankets to enjoy cool nights out on that lovely wraparound deck. The deck overlooks the manicured grounds of the RV resort and a beautiful view of the bay spread out in front of you. Grab a cooler and a couple of chairs and a favorite book and take the short walk down to the beach. At low tide. you have a nice wide beach to dip your toes in the water and enjoy the sound of the waves and lobster boats. This trip was four of us adult women together for a weekend trip. This place is a hidden gem as it is close to Camden Hills for some hiking, the downtown of Belfast with its lovely restaurants and Harbor walk, and further north Sears Island has plenty of nature walks. If you really felt adventurous you could even go into Acadia national park. We will absolutely be back as we are locals from Maine and this has the best of what Maine has to offer. The apartment was perfect: spacious, clean, central, easy to find.

We had a lovely time walking around the streets of Southington ME, although my husband thought he booked a place in Southington CT. Only a 6 hours of traveling difference. BUT, we had a peaceful time in the in the beautiful harbor. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

We had a wonderful visit. Perfect location, adorable accommodations and a relaxing stay. I highly recommend!

I’ve decided to take my 3 boys back to Maine since it has been 10 years since they last visited. And this property was the perfect fit for my guys and I. It was near everything with a lot of things to do and see. We hiked Camden Hills State Park, sailed a schooner during sunset, checked out downtown Camden, walked Belfast, visited a beautiful church, stopped by 7 lighthouses and visited Bar Harbor when we went to Acadia. We ate a lot of lobster rolls! All this even though the weather wasn’t the most ideal some days. Judy & Skip were great hosts & responded immediately. We enjoyed the blueberry muffins and mint chocolate brownies during our stay baked by Judy. My boys and I fit comfortably in the very well stocked apartment. I have never stayed at a place where I only needed to bring my clothes because everything else is already there. I have 3 teenagers and they all said how much they enjoyed their long weekend. They even asked if we could come back to the same place soon. Wonderful retreat !

A lovely quaint apartment. Easy to find and easy access. Area was very quiet and peaceful, even with the nearby restaurant open. If you don't like stairs look elsewhere, especially with the bathroom at the bottom of the stairs. However, if you love idyllic villages by the ocean and peaceful morning walks with amazing views then this is your place. The pictures are accurate, the kitchen well furnished, and there is a blind for the skylight. My only complaint would be the tv is in an awkward place but i just turned the couch and then put it back. Highly recommend!

This is a very quiet Serene property Donner and Dave are excellent hosts! Love the peace and quiet and the lake and lots to do and shopping within an hour away. Don't know if we're special or not but the chocolate chocolate chip cookies or out of this world 👍 see you soon!
