Funchal cottage rentals

The accommodation is identical to the photos. The bedding is very comfortable and the garden with the swimming pool is superb. We had a pleasant stay with our family and we would be happy to come back.

It was a nice place with beautiful views . Near a gas station , a grocery store near a couple of restaurants.. Best of all my Mom’s house was down the hill from the Airbnb . We flew from Phoenix Az to see family there in Madeira . With a few suggestions it’s a good place to stay and would do so again …

We had a great time in San Vicente. The flat was just what we needed: good kitchen, big and clean bathroom, good sized bedroom, outdoor patio with a view and a great location a bit farther away from all the tourist activity. The place lacks direct sunlight bc there’s only two windows but the sun really comes strong over the mountains when it does

Exceptional experience! An oasis in Funchal! Lovely grounds, exceptionally clean and quiet. Fantastic location from which to walk to all attractions. Host is warm, attentive and knowledgeable. If renting a car, be sure it's a small one as gate is narrow and entry to property is just off the busy roundabout.

I stayed here with my family for a week in March. The home was absolutely perfect for us! The space was large, immaculately cleaned, and (best of all) felt like a well loved home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, taking in the stunning views of the ocean and the mountains. My mom sat on the deck and watched the sun rise over the ocean each morning. We took advantage of the kitchen and made food at the house. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with anything you may need. We had a little trouble finding the front gate, but the neighbor was nice enough to help us out. The host was great and very communicative. I would absolutely stay here again!

Casa do Feitor was our home away from home for two weeks while recently vacationing on Madeira. It always felt great to come back to after busy days spent exploring. It was so convenient to have the option to cook in or eat out. Everything needed to prepared a meal was available - even a charcoal grill. We are grateful to Buffy & Frank for going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My husband and I highly recommend this vacation property - let it it be YOUR home away from home!

We loved our stay at the Azalea cottage. The cottage is gorgeous, very well presented and exactly as shown in the pictures. Filomena, and everyone at Casa De Pedra, were delightful and excellent hosts. An absolutely perfect honeymoon. Thank you!

Caretakers were helpful & friendly. Home was peaceful & sufficient for our needs.
