Big Pine Key cottage rentals

Our family stayed for a couple of nights during spring break. The property is well stocked with pretty much everything you need other than food. Very clean and nicely decorated! We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.Marcello was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to any questions.

We loved the property! The private dock and ramp was amazing. All my kids caught countless snapper and baracuda from the dock each day and night. Walt was a fantastic property manager and even helped us level our boat onto the trailer in the strong current on the way out. Great experience here in Little Torch and would highly recomend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Summerland Key for the month of February. The house was on a very private street and was quite spacious. The master bed and bath are quite large. The master has a king bed and a good-sized closet in the bathroom area. There is access to the front patio from the master bedroom. The master bath has a large shower. Access to the second bedroom/den is off the kitchen. This room has a sofa that can be converted to a bed and has a small desk. There is another small room that has bunk beds. The second bathroom is located off the entrance area from the garage. It also has a shower. This bathroom is also accessible from the bedroom/den. The house was well-equipped, and the appliances worked well. The living room area had a couch and two chairs. The TV set was large and worked well. This was a working vacation for my husband, so he set up his work area on the dining room table with a view of the back patio and ocean. The internet was good, and the speed of the connection was adequate for our purposes. The view from the back patio was very nice. The patio had many chairs, small tables, and a propane fire pit. We did not have use of the garage during our stay but there was plenty of room to park in the driveway. The washer and dryer were in the garage. The house did not have central air/heat but had two individual units. One in the living/kitchen area and one in the master bedroom. The area is beautiful, clean, and safe.

This property worked out great for us. We had four adults staying in the unit. The back porch on the canal was perfect for morning coffee. We enjoyed taking the bikes for a spin around the property. We would consider staying here again.

Just returned from our amazing vacation to the Florida Keys. We had 3 ladies on our annual girls trip this year and we stayed in the Palm Cottage.I cannot tell you enough how wonderful Hidden Hammock is. We dubbed it “Little Melrose Place”. It’s such a cute little community. We arrived at dark, but the outdoor light was on and door ajar so we could easily get inside. There were 3 of us ladies so we had plenty of room inside the cottage. There were 5 or 6 (very nice) beach towels, 2 (very nice) beach chairs and a (also very nice) beach umbrella. Since there were 3 of us, Hope brought us a third chair and a cooler right away, as we were headed to the beach that day. At other places we've stayed, if the description says there are beach chairs, it usually means they are broken down ones that other guests have left. Not here, everything was brand new! It was so nice not having to go and spend money on a beach chair, umbrella and cooler! We hung out by the pool on Monday. There are 3 other cottages at Hidden Hammock and the guests at the other places came to the pool that day too, and we all hung out together (hence, "little Melrose Place") Hope was there as well and even grilled us ALL hamburgers and hotdogs. It was a very lovely day.We loved the location of Summerland Key. We could drive 30-40 minutes either way and have plenty of activities to do and restaurants to go to, although you could also drive as little as 5 minutes to find some great places to eat!

We spent an absolutely wonderful week on Summerland Key, calling Flamingo cottage, unit #1our cozy home. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and its surroundings offered seclusion and a peaceful place to enjoy nature. Our host, Hope, was incredibly welcoming, and helpful. We so enjoyed our visits with her and she was invaluable for steering us to the best places to eat. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was made especially pleasant by the wonderful attentiveness of our hosts, Trina and Hope. The property is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring either the lower or middle Keys. The grounds are quiet and well-manicured and the amenities even include everything you need for a day out at the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.). We would happily spend another week at this Summerland Key retreat. (In fact, as I write this at my desk back at work in Los Angeles, I wish I were there now!)

The property was just as it was listed as, very clean and very inviting. We loved that it was so quiet! We will definitely go back again!
