Saranac Lake cottage rentals

Great communication, lovely house, easy check-in, it’s exactly as the pics and description say. Really nice place and an unbeatable location (walkable to Wiseguys!!) — overall, just great.

Great stay quiet location but near a lot of activities. Great view of Lake Placid and the Adirondack Mountains.

Very clean and cozy

The location here was great! Perfect for dogs as it’s fully fenced in and has quite a large yard.

This was our fourth time staying at Juniper and it was another great experience. The location is perfect for us, nestled in the woods, but walking distance to town and Mirror Lake. Our four yr old son loves staying at “The Bear House” (his name for it because of the bear in dining area). We look forward to returning next year!

My spouse and I had the great luck to stay at this gem of a space for two nights for the total solar eclipse. Janet was a gracious, warm, welcoming, and communicative host, making sure we had all information and comfort needed for our stay. The space inside and out is private and serene. When not having our minds blown by the sublime eclipse, we enjoyed sitting in comfy Adirondack chairs listening to birdsong, whooping cranes (!), and watching deer walk in the surrounding woods. The studio is outfitted with everything one would need and we loved the Zen theme. A lot of thought has gone into creating a lovely experience for guests. A very short walk from the studio is a causeway over a spectacular bog with mountain views. We are so happy and thankful to have found the Zen Studio! We hope to return soon and HIGHLY recommend.

Goose Landing was more peaceful and relaxing than we expected (and we had high hopes). The home is only a few miles from Saranac Lake village but feels much further away on the shores of Kiwassa Lake. This is just right for someone looking to stay on the water with the lake just steps away and a fully equipped kitchen enabling you to stay right here and never leave for your entire stay. I could not think of anything better for a stay in the Adirondacks.

The cabin is just right for 2 people. In the week we stayed, we only used the truck a couple of times because it’s a short, half-mile walk into town and we could ride bikes a few miles to go to lunch at the Whiteface club just on the other shore of lake Placid. Captain Marney’s boat rental is only a couple hundred yards away and it was a pleasure to rent a boat a couple days. We blew off plans to see a local band because we were enjoying the time on the deck above the boathouse so much. Even though there are a couple other properties in close proximity, the trees and positions of them give a feeling of solitude. Paradox bay is a calm little cove and we used the provided kayaks and canoe daily. Of you walk from the cabin completely around Mirror Lake it’s about a 4 mile loop, so a nice morning stroll with a stop at the Breakfast Club, The Cottage for a drink or lunch, or Jimmy’s 21 for a great dinner. Even a shorter walk to The View at Mirror Lake Inn for a fancy, “fine dining” dinner if you’re not wearing fancy shoes, or a leisurely stumble back from Zigzags after a night of bar games. Can’t wait to get back.
