Washington cottage rentals

While I anticipated a unique stay in the Banana Cabana, my expectations were greatly exceeded by the fabulous tropical/safari feel, filled with plants and intriguing decor! Comfortable; fully stocked for cooking and entertainment; with clear instructions for everything. The soaking tub and rainshower are generous. The location is convenient for anything you'd want to do in Fremont/Ballard. Alice was very responsive about any questions I had. I hope to be able to stay in the Cabana when my travels next take me to Seattle!

We had a family wedding on San Juan Island and this cottage was the perfect spot for our stay. Close driving distance from Friday Harbor and the ferry landing, and walking distance to several beach spots. I appreciated the craftsmanship and charm of the cottage and it came equipped with everything we needed for our extended weekend get-away.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Bee Hive. Owners thought of every detail! Clean, cute, comfortable and cozy place reflecting beautifully in the online photos. Backyard gazebo was a quiet place to relax. Friendly neighbors, quick access to the freeway, airport and downtown. We will definitely return!

My friend and I enjoyed the cabin very much, we are old and walk with canes but was still able to explore the beach.

This cottage is charming and amazingly well equipped. There was coffee and tea in the cupboard, extra towels, every kind of toiletry.The bed and other furnishings were comfortable. The garden beautiful. Terrific neighborhood.

One year ago to the day, (Sept 4th), my then girlfriend and I stayed here, and had an unforgettable evening sitting at the creek on the property, talking all evening about life, marriage, dreams, and the future. We talked so long, next thing we knew, it was dark outside, and what had been sunlight was now moonlight. The entire trip was magnificent, but that particular day stood out as something significant and memorable. Fast forward to summer of this year, I've asked my girlfriend to marry me, and she has accepted. We decided to elope as inexpensively as possible, and since we'd always thought about an adventurous, outdoor wedding, she suggested we see if we could get married at the exact same spot where we made such everlasting memories. I immediately contacted Michelle at the property and, not only were the dates we wanted the ONLY available dates, she and her husband agreed to not only allow us to marry there, but they became our witnesses and members of the wedding party. We found a lovely local officiant, Michele got cake and flowers out of her own pocket, her husband cooked delicious food, their family friend took photographs, her mom visted, and we had a beautiful ceremony down at the creek, in the exact same spot we had created unforgettable memories, exactly one year to the day later. Everything fell into place perfectly, as if it were supposed to happen just as it did, and we have made lifelong friends to go along with the memories of our best day ever.
