  • Very clean and in a good location

"Enjoyed the flat which had everything we needed including a pool in the basement. Very short walk to the gondola, bars and restaurants."

  • Amazing quality of apartment, family friendly.

"Karina is a fab landlady, always on hand to give help and advice not only about the property but the area and restaurants that are well worth visiting. The apartment was really lovely and could easily sleep 4 people. It was clean, modern and had all the utilities that makes it a holiday home away from home. Having a balcony looking over the pool that had a really good mixture of shade and sun throughout the day (excellent for drying your towels). Although the Apollon 2 was part of a larger complex (which was good as it gave flexibility because we could use any pool on the complex and there were lots of play areas for little ones) it felt secluded and private. The bar in the Apollon 2 was friendly and reasonably priced which made it a struggle to go out exploring sometimes haha! The location of the apartment was literally a 2 minute walk from an amazing beach littered with restaurants and cafes. I will definitely be booking for next summer!"

  • Perfect in every way!

"Great house in a perfect location if you want peace, quiet and privacy. The villa had everything we needed in terms of space and amenities. The pool was a good size, and fun inflatables were provided too! The welcome pack was appreciated. Spent a lot of time just relaxing at the villa, but the location means you can be in Dobrich in 10 mins for shops, cafes and supermarkets, and Balchik in 20 mins for the beach and other attractions. We also enjoyed exploring the Black Sea coast north of Balchik. Had a wonderful two weeks, will recommend to everyone, and hope to return!"

  • Good location to gondola and all amenities, reasonably priced

"Overall we had a good holiday. Bansko is a lively ski town with plenty of options for family dining and also apres ski to suit all. Having said that skiing there isnt for the faint hearted...not because of the actual runs...but the skiers using them. We've skied in various european resorts and this was definitely the craziest. A lot of skiers and boarders on slopes that they shouldnt be and a lot of serious accidents. This wasnt helped by the fact there hadnt been a good snow in a few weeks though and higher slopes were quite churned up and icy. Also- be prepared to either queue for the gondola/free bus or pay for a private taxi every morning. Its worth invesigating the fast track pass for the gondola or seeing if you can negotiate transfer from your hotel or ski hire shop. Our property was reasonably priced and in a very good location to both the gondola and nice restaurants: salt and pepper, log house and the bears. It's attached to Penguins restaurant which is a bit more anglicised but great for families (we brought our 5 year old). The apartments have a gym and small pool open between 2-7pm daily. It's quite clean, nice for a dip after the slopes and nice to have without going to a hotel. Theres also a sauna- but this isnt set very hot. The pool was quite cold on a few days so this would have been nicer if it had been warm enough to contrast to the pool. Our apartment was clean- just a few dust bunnies and grease on grill pan- nothing major. Heating was great - we were able to get stuff dried easily -however be warned the hotwater tank is small- you wont get a bath out for an adult out of it (we added quite a few kettles and saucepans of hot water) ...but our 5 year old managed bathtimes ok. Just make your showers quick. One downside is that you get 1 towel and 1 hand towel per guest for the full week with no laundry facilities. This was tough going with a family using the pool and shower daily. Given the tight baggage restrictions and amount of clothing needed for skiing, it would be nice if towels were changed at least once during a week long stay. All in all, an interesting trip. Fortuna apartments great especially if you are on a budget. There were 2 adults and 1 child in our party so the apartment was spacious enough- 4 adults might have been cosy as one of the beds is a sofa bed in living room. Go for this option if you want proximity to gondola, restaurants and ski hire shops at a reasonable price."
