  • Beautiful, Modern Apartment in the Rue de Buci, Paris

"Last summer I stayed in this beautiful apartment in the Rue de Buci with my 16 year-old granddaughter. Situated in the 6th Arrondissemont, right off the Boulevard Saint-Germain, it was the perfect location for visiting Paris on foot. From here we walked everywhere - from the Panthéon to the Catacombs to the Eiffel Tower to the Centre Pompidou to the Arc de Triomphe. A city bus to Montmartre and Sacré Coeur stopped just a short walk away on the Rue de Rennes. Rue de Buci is a lively street with shops, restaurants, cafés and street music. A supermarket and bakery are close by on the Rue de Seine. As someone who lived and worked in Paris off and on in the early 00’s, I chose this location deliberately - and my granddaughter loved it. The apartment itself was clean, bright and modern (in a lovely heritage building) and perfectly equipped with stove, fridge, washer/dryer, TV, Wi-Fi, phone, dishes, glasses and bedding for the two beds (one double in the bedroom, one sofa bed in the living room). We both loved it - and most importantly, we felt safe there! Both the owner and the apartment manager were a pleasure to deal with. I would return in an instant and I thoroughly recommend it to all my friends and to anyone wishing to get a taste of the “real” Paris."

  • Great apartment and excellent location.

"We had a fantastic time in Marco's loft. It's a beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood, right in the heart of Cremona, which we fell in love with. We stayed for 10 days and we felt right at home the whole time. We had some glitches with the WIFI upon our arrival but Marco's brother, Cristiano, came to the rescue and all was resolved by the next business day. Cremona has free WIFI throughout the city, so we weren't terribly inconvenienced. The upstart to that was meeting Cristiano and his friend Mauro. They introduced us to people in Cremona, including Carlos Roberts, a violin maker, with whom we shared aperitivi after having been invited into his studio. We also met Mauro again later in the week for dinner with his friends Cristina and Marcello. It was a lot of fun and Cremona became quite the magical experience for Sue and me."
