  • Excellent Apartment!

"Excellent apartment, very spacious and luxurious. Location was perfect, lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by and easy walking distance to all the sights. Furnishing is lovely, and bathroom is amazing! Only negative we could think of is we could of personally made use of a microwave or oven in the kitchen other than that the kitchen is very well equipped. As mentioned in other reviews the bar downstairs can be slightly noisy however we only noticed this on the weekends and it wasn't excessive or an inconvenience for us. We also ate at the bar and the food was excellent! Erik was very friendly and responsive and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam! Thank You Erik"

  • Ideal

"As a group of 5 adultes with 3 children this Chalet was ideal, set facing the slope down from Altiport in Meribel village it was just a few steps away from the chairlift up to the action. The village is peaceful and very pretty with a Boulangerie and epicerie close by. The chalet itself is spacious, attractive and well equipped. It was also very practical to have an enclosed garage space, and the village car park just opposite the Chalet. A bonus is the pool spa centre which is open to the chalet users.I would go back to stay here time and time again."

  • Magical Tuscan experience

"Casa Della Rondini proved ideal for our family trip to Tuscany. It was beautifully situated on the rolling hills of a private wine/olive oil estate. The house was perfectly appointed with all we might need and Barbara and Susan were both very helpful during the planning stages and the stay alike. Day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, San Gusme and for some local wine tasting all proved easy to manage and very enjoyable. I would recommend - and return to - this place anytime."

  • What a find!

"Our extended family group of 9 (ranging in age from 6 to 75) stayed at Chez Nana for four nights in October. We found that the apartment exceeded our expectations by far. Everything actually is as it appears in the photos, and in fact the reality is BETTER than the photos. With the 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, we were all assured of comfort and privacy during our stay. The large living/dining area was a perfect place for us to gather to talk about our day and to plan future excursions. Also, the wifi worked very well. We had a lot of electronic devices in use all the time--phones, iPads, laptops, etc., and we found that the connection could handle everything without any noticeable slow-downs. Although we didn't cook, we appreciated having the kitchen, which is well stocked with dishes and even includes some storage space. The washer was a godsend, because we all tried to pack light, although the dryer function on the machine was extremely time consuming. We found that it worked best to just use the "wash" cycle; then we hung things to dry or laid them out on the large drying rack provided. (There was plenty of room for the rack in one of the bedrooms.) We also appreciated that the apartment is on the first floor (one level up), so it was easy walking for all of us. Exploring the neighborhood, we found a good supermarket and lots of little shops within a short walk. We also tried a few of the recommended neighborhood restaurants for dinner. Our favorite was Papa Rex, a five-ten minute walk away. Adriana gave us a good orientation to the apartment when we arrived and also arranged taxi service to the train station on arrival and departure. She answered any questions we had promptly by email. As for sightseeing, this apartment is within relatively easy walking distance of all the Vatican sights. Beyond that, we relied on taxis to get us into other parts of the city. Given the size and age range of our group, that seemed more efficient than trying to use mass transit from this location. Bottom line, for our large group, Chez Nana was the best, most affordable place I could find on VRBO, and trust me, I searched all over Rome before making this choice. Absolutely no regrets! Thanks to Adriana for making our time in Rome so enjoyable."
