  • Very comfortable apartment which we enjoyed again.

"This a very nice apartment which is well kitted out internally and with nice patio furniture as well. The pool being so close is excellent and even though we don't use it there is an exercise room available with an indoor pool and a sauna. I enjoy cooking and I suppose the cooking implements are not as good as I have at home but hey, it's not home. Having the use of WiFi was a great help as well. It's a pity about the village, refurbishment causing chaos, progress I suppose ?"

  • Perfect villa for a relaxing holiday

"We all had a very relaxing time at Villa Ruya. It had everything we needed for a truly enjoyable holiday. Lots of space for the four of us and very comfortable. We all loved the large secluded pool and sunbathing area. The large sun umbrellas came in very handy as we had two weeks of nonstop sunshine :) Loved the location and being able to walk into Ozankoy village for dinner (especially Erols!)"

  • Probably the best appointed villa we've stayed in

"This must rate as one of the best appointed villas we have ever stayed in. We loved the BBQ area – it’s a good place too for breakfast when the sun is hot. This villa has an amazing amount of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, DVDs, etc. ExPat TV gives you BBC & ITV and loads of Freeview channels, but the bandwidth wasn’t good enough to watch Strictly either live or on the iPlayer. We used the water cooler quite a lot and one refill lasted 10 days for us. Take the empty to one of the checkout staff at Philippos and get a voucher so you only pay for a replacement – less than 3 Euros. Never before have we had a villa with a wine fridge! For good beach away from the main one, especially for snorkelling, go to Corallia Beach at the end of the bus route. There’s a large restaurant there across from the hotel and it’s a good place to watch the sunset. Alternatively try the small Sea You Beach on the way to Paphos. You could walk there along the main road but it’s a good mile. Go down the path in between this and the next villa to get to the main road. This is also a short cut to Philippos or the Phidias restaurant. If you do have a car, try the restaurants in Kathikas such as Araouzos or Imogens. We didn’t get a call from the managers while we were there, but Ian, the pool maintenance guy, will give you plenty of up-to-date tips on where to go. He calls Tuesdays and Fridays. Yes, there is a lot of road noise – generally tyre rather than engine, but it’s a small price to pay for the convenient location."

  • Fabulous!

"This was our first time at a villa, and it had everything you could possibly want. Super fast wifi was a real bonus as well. Very well maintained with quality furniture, lovely comfortable beds and padded sun loungers and umbrellas, which is a great plus! The pool is spotlessly clean, and well maintained. Coral Bay "strip" (5 - 7 minute stroll) has everything you could want - bars/restaurants/supermarkets/medical centre/bank (with cashpoint) etc. Paphos town 10 minutes in a taxi or take the bus for 1.5 euros Christine, the Property Manager is very helpful, and provided great communication at all times. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a great holiday, close to the beach and all amenities, yet in a peaceful location."
