  • Amazing & beautiful stay in Vouni

"Oniochori is made up of 2 apartments and a pool house. We stayed in the 1st floor apartment which is much larger than the photographs suggest. Traditionally and beautifully decorated with equipped everything you could possibly need (and more) The 1st floor apartment consists of living/kitchen/dining area with fully equipped kitchen and TV/Radio/CD player and air conditioning etc. 1 bedroom with lots of storage space and air-con, a bathroom with shower bath, toilet and sink as well as storage areas. Off the bedroom are double doors leading on to a large terrace (with table and chairs). Myself and my partner spent every evening on the balcony enjoying the bright stars and planets in the dark night skies, perfect if you have an interest in astronomy, the night skies are spectacular with a clear view of the Milky Way. We saw shooting stars every evening, the International Space Station and a couple of satellites pass over. The buildings are made of gorgeous traditional stone and in keeping with the rest of the village. The outside area has a lovely clean pool (essential for cooling off in the hot weather) a shaded area with tables, comfortable chairs, sun loungers and candles and even somewhere to plug in your phone/MP3 to play your music though a speaker. The apartment is a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. We also had a look at the pool house, its perfectly equipped & decorated for a couple or a single traveler. The location is roughly 45 minutes from Paphos airport and 20 minutes from Limassol by car. Its also near to many traditional villages. I would recommend use of a car to make the most of the area and the island. The highlight of the holiday for us was meeting the owners of the property Andros and Mary. They couldn't have been sweeter, gracious, generous or more hospitable with their time, space and belongings. They gave us lots of great advice on what to see and do, restaurants, beaches, sites of interest etc. They even cooked delicious food for us. We have formed a special friendship with Andros & Mary. So much so there is nowhere we'd rather stay in Cyprus and we're planning a return trip next year and bringing family along with us. If you want to stay in a beautiful traditional part of Cyprus you won't be disappointed with Oniochori. We can't recommend it highly enough! Happy holidays! :)"

  • A beautiful tranquil villa, well equipped and so close to the sea you can hear the waves.

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Agnanti, the property was well designed and clean and well kept. The owners were attentive and really helpful when we needed to order taxis. The balcony areas were lovely to sit in with a refreshing sea breeze. The pool was clean and the teenagers particularly enjoyed going in for moonlit swims! We enjoyed being located in the quieter region of the Island, there were no big complexes and lovely expanses of unspoilt beaches. A car is essential but driving is easy, little tavernas are dotted along the costal road and there is a big supermarket 20 minutes drive away so we didn't need to go far to get all we needed. Latchi Water sports provided the excitement the teenagers needed and the beach at Latchi was perfect for swimming and sunbathing. All in all our stay was very enjoyable and we would certainly think about coming back to the same villa again."

  • Fantastic stay

"We arrived at this villa to find it exactly as described and even better than expected. This is a stunning villa and has much more indoor and outdoor space than the photos suggest. We traveled as a party of three, however there is enough space for six adults with small children without feeling on top of one another. The booking process was easy and the owner quick to respond and very helpful. We arrived late at night to find lights on which was welcoming as were the supplies we asked for. This is a very well equipped villa with literally everything you will need including a good range of pantry items and is beautifully decorated to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The upstairs bedroom is partly self contained and has a large outdoor seating area. This room is accessed from the outside therefore not ideal as a children's room as there is no access from inside the villa, but great for other adults or teenagers. We thought the lack of air conditioning would be a problem in August, however the design and hillside breeze helped keep it cool. The pool area is very secluded and not overlooked by neighbours and shade is provided by very tall trees although too much shade by late afternoon plus the trees do tend to shed a lot which requires sweeping numerous times a day. The location is peaceful, pretty and out of the way up a steep hillside therefore a car is a necessity, but there is a pub and restaurant within walking distance. This is a beautiful villa with great views and we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it."
