  • Beautiful spot and excellent hosting

"I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful spot in Box. The accommodation was lovely - clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet and with an undeniable cute-factor. The hosts even left us a care basket of homemade bread and jam which was delicious and greatly appreciated. Most definitely highly recommended :-)"

  • Excellent accomodation, great location

"Everything was perfect for our weekend stay. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are to a high standard with powerful showers. There is a large new smart television in the lounge with comfy settee, and the kitchen was to a high standard. Absolutely no complaints and would not hesitate in staying here again."

  • Ideal location

"Great place to stay for easy access to Bath city centre and to explore surrounding countryside. We did a fair amount of cycling and the choice of easy going routes along the canal path or more challenging country lanes was brilliant. A quiet location but close enough to Bath city centre for more lively surroundings. We stayed 4 nights and didn't use the car at all using our bikes, bus and walking everywhere instead. The accommodation was ideal...comfortable, clean and well planned."

  • Large, quality property

"Two cottages have been combined to create a very spacious house on 3 levels. Each of the three bedrooms has its own ensuite and are quite private (with lockable door), and there are two separate games/meeting rooms (one with small pool table) and a huge kitchen. There is also an outside terrace and garden area that we didn't really use but I'm sure would be lovely during the summer months. The house was very clean and well maintained, with quality finishes and facilities, and we felt very welcome by Richard on arrival. An ideal place to stay with either a large family or a group of friends. The location was in a small village, about a 25 minute walk from Chepstow. The only downside was the lack of a local pub or restaurant in the village (so you will need your own transport). There are also quite a lot of stairs in the property so not ideal for toddlers or anyone with walking difficulties. Overall a great place to stay."
