  • Fantastic location, clean bright flat

"We stayed here 4 nights and really enjoyed. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The flat was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Close to the tube and a supermarket 2 minute walk away. Would definitely go back. Thanks for everything Girish!"

  • Cozy and close to all we love in Hampstead!

"Let's just say there's no other place for us in London but Hampstead. And this little gem sits right in the heart of our favorite part. We were there in December and the cottage was a delightfully warm and charming refuge from the chill. Yet, in minutes we could be walking along the Christmas streets and sitting in our favorite pub (The Flask) or running on the Heath with some of the politest dogs in the world. I can see that in Spring and Summer, the little balcony with its charming view of the garden and cottage below would be full of flowers and sun. We didn't miss it (well, maybe a little.) We had a comfy couch, a washer and dryer (essential after greeting the politest dogs on the Heath) and a kitchen full of goodies from Gail's (scones, mince pies, mini quiches, cauliflower soup) and other wonderful bakeries and delis. Everything was spotless, everything worked and the bed was dreamily comfortable. And the most marvelous thing was the quiet at night. Hard to find in one of the funnest cities on the planet. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Perfect everything!!

"I don't really want anybody to know about this little gem in south Ealing just in case it's not available next time I want to stay. What can I say Valerie's flat ticked all the boxes.....location right near south Ealing station easy access to heathrow airport on the tube and to all the places to see in London and surrounding areas....clean and comfortable flat with all amenities needed for long or short stay....plenty of places to dine within walking distance....bus stop right around the corner for getting to places when not wanting to use the tube....wonderful hosts who made us feel extremely welcome....shopping centre just up the road and a local Salisbury store for all your necessities....one of the nicest places I have stayed in.....I will certainly be staying here again when back in London and will certainly be recommending to all who need the perfect holiday flat.....and the added bonus of having a backyard to have a quiet drink at the end of long days sightseeing was the icing on the cake. thank you again Valerie for allowing us to stay with you and see you again soon!"

  • Very good....but lots of stairs!

"I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment. It was in a great neighborhood - seemed trendy, close to Oxford Circus and all of its shops, close to two tube stations making downtown London very accessible, yet still very friendly and down-to-earth. There was a great pub across the street and an even better Italian restaurant right on the corner. The apartment was clean and bright and had all of the amenities you would want (kettle, coffee maker etc). The one surprising thing for me (clearly i did not read the advert closely enough) is that the apartment is on the third floor of a walk-up building (this means - four floors up as the ground floor doesn't count as floor 1). I wasn't expecting this. While going up and down 4 flights of stairs was good exercise for me, it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is no lift. Also, the managers of the apartment have no ability to keep your suitcases or hold them for you should you be flying in early in the morning and not able to check into the flat until afternoon. I left my bags at Victoria Station Left Luggage Centre - so this is not an unsurmountable difficulty, but it does add cost and time to your first day in London. Finally, the matress in the bedroom is not great - probably should be updated. It is rather hard. In spite of these three limitations, I would stay there again - for sure. But I do hope they change the mattress."
