  • Lovely, quaint cottage

"We had all we needed and had enough room for 6 adults and a child, at Tea cosy cottage, all cutlery, plates, dishes, pans etc, were all there. The cottage itself is about a 5 minute drive to the centre of Bude, so is ideal, the village where it is located is very quiet, there is only one shop and one pub, which is old and very, very quiet, no music, TVs, etc so we only went once. However the location for the area around north Cornwall is great, but all need a bit of a drive to get to. We went into Bude most nights where's plenty to do and the beach is fantastic. In the village of Marehamchurch, there is a very, very old church which is worth a visit. We enjoyed our week in Tea cosy cottage and would recommend staying there to anyone who needs a base for this area. It was Good value for money, has a very friendly owner and is perfect for a large family."

  • perfect location for a relaxed family holiday

"We have just returned from a fantastic week in this beautiful cottage. The location and views are amazing. Beautiful coastal walk to Crackington Haven. I'd highly recommend the Coombe Barton Inn for great food, and helpful staff. We had day trips to Bude, Port Isaac, Looe and Adrenaline Quarry all between 15mins and an hour away. Katy and her lovely family made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning! Absolutely loved it!!!!"

  • Fantastic

"We have had the most amazing and relaxing holiday. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and spacious. Everything provided, even a welcome homemade cake!!! Beds are comfortable, shower is invigorating!!! The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of touristy Cornwall, but within a 15 min drive you are in the heart of Bude. It was our first experience of being on a working farm, it was lovely to see the cows being moved to the sheds by the amazing sheepdogs, and waking up to mooing every morning. The views are beautiful. The owner Jill was very welcoming and any minor problems were resolved the same day. Holiday enhanced by regular visits from Jill's dogs Meg and Jess and cat Molly. Only slight drawback is the Internet was a bit intermittent, but sometimes it's nice to be without it!!! Hope to visit again next year, one of our best holidays ever. Thank you Jill."

  • Easy to arrange even at very short notice. House just as described.

"Everything you need for a beach holiday. No need to drive for the town, beach, including body boarding and sea pool swimming, coast paths and canal. There were useful reviews of restaurants and shops. It was clean. Easy to use all the facilities but useful instructions there too. Handy OS maps available. Would recommend and come back too."
