  • Family Reunion

"Beautiful house in prime position - close to town, beach and cliff tops. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the outside decking area where there was plenty of room for all of us."

  • A fabulous place to stay!

"From the moment you step inside the door to The Old Manse you feel relaxed and at home. The property is furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean and everything is catered for including a lovely welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits. Location is perfect for both Crooklets and Summerleaze beaches, the golf course and the town with its variety of shops, bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Booking through Elite West Holidays was a breeze. Contact Nick Compton was delightful to deal with, very prompt in responding to questions and supplying a wealth of information about the property and surrounding area. I highly recommend them. A great experience all round, cannot fault a thing!"

  • Wow! Wow! Wow!

"This property really is beautiful! Everything was thought of and it was immaculate! Very close to everything you need and gorgeous hot tub in the garden! We truly loved our holiday at Shorebreak and would most certainly love to come back as soon as possible! Thank you to the owners Annie and Graham for one of the best holidays we have had in a very long time!"

  • Wish We Could Stay Forever!

"This property was even more magnificent in "real life" than the pictures are! We stayed in the manor itself (not the Bay Cottage), and it combined historic charm and beauty with all the modern conveniences. Even though it is in the middle of Bude, you still feel you are out in the country. The front and back gardens are tranquil and refreshing. The Chapel of St Leonard on site is exquisite! I would stay here forever if I could, just to absorb its history. It's like stepping back in time, but with plenty of hot water. Bude also was a delight - a walker's paradise. The coastal walk along the cliffs, through sheep pastures, and back roads of the town was a wonderfully challenging hike one day, with the walk along the canal (on flat ground) was equally refreshing, especially with the many spring lambs frolicking and baaing in the fields right over the fence. We could not have had a more perfect stay. Every detail was as promised, and Gina and Jonathan were thoughtful and friendly hosts. BOOK IT NOW!"
