  • Tranquil and cosy, a lovely place to stay

"I have stayed at this cottage several times in the past and it is truly a lovely place to stay, very quiet and cosy with enormous old world character and great walking nearby. Thetford, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds are close and great to visit and the sea is not that far away. Breckland Forest is a fascinating area, full of history and pre-history! Neighbours are friendly and gentle, Ben and Christine will bend over backwards to be helpful and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend it! Kate Evans"

  • New Year 2016!

"I wanted a spacious, well equipped & modern property to spend New Year's eve with friends in the heart of Norfolk. The Old Grain Barn ticked all of these boxes! The downstairs space is huge and open plan and very relaxing. It was the ideal place to socialise, eat and drink on New Years eve! All of the bedrooms are ensuite and beautifully presented. There is good storage space for clothes and bags etc. The coast is a 15 minute drive away and the long open beaches were a joy to walk along - before a well earned beer!! I'd thoroughly recommend the Barn as a great place to stay."

  • Quaint cottage

"The cottage was well equipped and very clean. This cottage was well situated for exploring the coast at Wells next to sea, and we found plenty of walks around Fakenham along the river. Owners were lovely and very helpful. We would book again, infact we already have."
