  • Charming, tucked away but in the centre of it all.

"Firstly thanks to John for helping us to feel at home from the start of our weekend, his advice on things to see and do really hit the mark (we'd never have known about nor found the hand labyrinth without his insight). The Divine Light is a marvellous place to stay in Glastonbury it’s got all you’ll need a small functional kitchen (there’s tea rooms literally 2 mins away) large sitting room, 2 ample bedrooms. The sunset from the balcony was lovely but being early March it was too cold to sit outside. There’s an extensive library of spiritual books, DVD’s and novels. Lastly thanks again to John for sending back all that we left behind, all returned safe and sound. If you’re thinking of staying in Glastonbury I’d highly recommend The Divine Light Centre."

  • Generosity, beauty, care and attention to detail.

"We were met with such warmth and tender welcoming and I felt touched to the heart with tea lights lit, soft music playing, homemade vegan apple crumble, bottle of wine and immaculate cleanliness in kitchen and bathroom. Rose quartz in the bedroom and beautiful pictures of nature and objects of beauty fed our senses. The private pretty garden set out with seating overlooking the abbey gardens was magical to be in as we sat together chatting in the warm air till late. This was a family retreat to nurse our feelings together and the cottage seemed to have a heart that healed us through this rite of passage. The heart of this cosy cottage nurtured and blessed by Katarina. I felt her care in every detail of beauty she has created. The fireplace with logs ready to burn and big DVD collection will be lovely in the winter to snuggle up with. We dreamt together of living like this and feel grateful we were held so comfortably in our overnight stay here. Thank you Katarina X"

  • A place to remember

"We had a wonderful time during our Somerset holiday. The cottage was a good choice; pretty, clean and well located. It is very close to the 'Walled Garden' and the Gastropub. The village shop and coffeeshop are also within walking distance. Mells is a very pretty village with many interesting listed buildings. Maggie and Rob were very welcoming and easygoing. We definitively recommend a stay in Mells at Rob and Maggie's cottage."
