  • This house is beautiful.

"First time to IOW and the place really grows on you!! The house is perfect for a family and is a treat for parents because it is so beautiful. We had BBQ's and sat on the patio whilst the kids played on the beach. We could walk into Seaview one way and down to the Boathouse pub the other. Running routes either way are perfect at low tide. The views are ever changing and the sunrise comes into wake you up! The house is kitted up to a high standard but still very relaxed. Lovely big towels and gorgeous smelling soaps are small details that make you feel at home. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we really enjoyed it."

  • Superb

"A superb house in a wonderful village. It is within a very easy walk of the village shops and sea. The house is incredibly well presented with a great kitchen containing all the utensils you could possibly need! It made cooking very easy. Beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are great. We had an amazing week. Thank you!"

  • Beautiful property, challenging check in process.

"The flat was beautifully decorated in a gorgeous marina setting...just a few miles outside the center of Chichester. A charming waterfront restaurant within walking distance serves delicious food...try the carrot soup. Unfortunately, the arrival and check in process was a real challenge. We never received complete instructions for getting the keys and the entry code; phone calls weren't returned, and it was only after wandering for an hour around the marina - asking everyone we ran into - were we able to gain access to the flat. Overall, good experience, but the communication process with the management company needs improvement."

  • Delightful little property but bathroom and kitchen needed to be cleaner

"Unfortunately there was just one thing which let this property down and that was the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom upon arrival. We found crumbs in the fridge and under the toaster, half eaten ice cream in the freezer, a very dirty oven tray, numerous products in the bathroom including half used mouth wash and about 7 bottles of shampoo etc by the bath. The loo also wasn't very clean. It really was disappointing especially because we paid peak rates in August. I understand leaving a few emergency products for guests in one basket just in case they forget something but these rooms were either not cleaned very well at all or it was like the property was being lived in. That said, the property really was delightful and perfect for our needs. Very comfortable and well equipped with high quality interiors and tasteful decor. We loved its location in Seaview, just a few minutes walk from the sea. It did not bother us about parking just down the road, in fact the stroll in the morning was rather pleasant. The property would have benefitted with a few more instruction manuals for appliances. Would have rated 5* if the kitchen and bathroom were cleaner."
