  • Welcoming, comfortable and lots of character

"We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment couldn't be more central, trains to London, buses to nearby towns, and Bride Road has around 15 places to eat, and interesting antique shops. You can walk to the Thames river in 5 minutes, & Hampton Court Palace in 10 mins. It is truly delightful. For me this area was home 40 years ago. Richard & Jocelyn really made us welcome and went out of their way to ensure a wonderful holiday. We will return indeed, Thank you."

  • Idyllic stay in leafy surrey

"Beautiful cottage within walking distance of Hampton Court palace and only 35 mins by train from London. The cottage provided all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The log burning stove was the icing on the cake after a long day. All queries answered quickly-Thanks for a great stay :)"

  • Lovely flat close to Surbiton station

"We spent a lovely 10 days in this flat in Surbiton, just minutes from the train station. Martin and Joyce are wonderful hosts and very kind. Everything you could need is right out the front door. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you!"

  • Cosy apartment in a cute town near London

"This basic, cosy apartment is a great location for both touring London as well as experiencing local British life. A car is not necessary since the train station is less than a 5 minute walk. The train takes you to the Waterloo station in 20 minutes and from there you can get the Tube anywhere you want to go in London or trains to other places. The nice little town of Surbiton is also less than a 5 minute walk and everything you need is there. There are a number of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and grocery stores. We recommend the fish and chips at the Flyer Pub next to the train station. Stan and Sylvia are terrific, they made sure the apartment was well stocked with essential things so that we did not have to run to the grocery store immediately. They even had a few essentials like bread, milk, eggs and butter for us. We arrived early and did not give them much notice of our arrival but they were very gracious and welcoming."
