  • Amazing flat in a great neighborhood

    "Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys) arrived in London August 3rd. We were warmly greeted at the flat and given a full overview of the features and functions. It was very clear this is a premium rental and the owners take special care to ensure the comfort of their guests. You might question the location vs. other more traditional tourist areas within London. Southwark turned-out to be a perfect base for our visit. The proximity to Waterloo and Southwark Stations made our journeys simple and quick (we recommend getting Oyster cards for your visit). We simply walked to our destinations along the Thames. The London Eye was only 10 mins. away. Although there are some hotels scattered about, Southwark didn't feel like a tourist area. So it was nice to come back at the end of the day and enjoy a more "local" setting. That is, real Londoners at the pubs and restaurants vs. the hordes of tourists we saw throughout the day. The unit itself was modern, large and bright. During our visit, London was quite warm, so the central air conditioning was perfect. Keep in mind the large floor-to-ceiling windows allow for a lot of heat gain, so keep the shades up while you're out if it's warm. The neighborhood has everything you'll need for your visit. We enjoyed the Sainsbury Local and a number of restaurants within 1 block of the flat. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. One minor note, the bedroom doors are self-closing (I suspect this is a fire code issue). They are quite heavy and, if allowed to swing shut, are quite loud. We had a couple of situations with them slamming in the night when one of the boys went out to use the bathroom. Wedges were provided to keep them open (or you can just try and remember to close them gently). This is probably something that should be pointed out during the initial walk-through with new renters."

  • Excellent choice for independent travellers

    "This accommodation is a large and beautiful flat in a perfect central London location. The living areas and bedrooms are generously proportioned, beautifully presented and great for a family, or 4 people sharing. Easy walk to Knightsbridge tube station and buses (Sloane St or Brompton Rd). The location is excellent, near Harrods, Harvey Nichols and supermarkets (M&S Food, Waitrose and Sainsburys), which made dining in and relaxing at home in the evenings very easy. Sale e Pepe restaurant across the road was very good and there are numerous places to eat in Sloane Square, a short bus ride or 15 minute walk down Sloane St. Interaction with the owner, Bonnie, was smooth and the information provided in the flat was thorough and made the stay trouble free. Overall a fantastic place to stay in London. Can't wait to return."

  • What a beautiful home for 8 friends to share for a week. Beautifully appointed, comfortable.

    "the tube is a 10 min walk in the centre of Portobello and we took it daily. Great restaurants and cafes. This home is gracious and creative and highly recommendable."
