  • Great view

"The location and view are great. (We watched the fireworks on New Year's Eve from the balcony.) The flat was pleasant, if a bit cold (and we couldn't work out how to change the heating settings). It's a 10 minute walk to the tube. There isn't a lot in the area at the moment, but it is being redeveloped and it will become livelier in the future. Recommended"

  • Fantastic and beautifully appointed flat. Superb location!

"Amir was a friendly and accommodating host. I have used VRBO on many occasions and this ranks as about my best experience. Amir has put a lot of time and resources into creating an incredible space. I will definitely be returning soon. Thanks Amir."

  • Amazing apartment

"I can say this is one of the safest, most convenient neighbourhoods in central London. The owners were extremely helpful in their responses, very professional and generous with their time. Bayswater and queensway metro station were moments away meaning we could navigate across London to the main attractions really easily. The hop on and off bus was located 5 minutes up the road which was awesome. The local area was brilliant with quite literally everything you would need around the corner. The apartment itself is finish to a high standard with spacious bedrooms and nice touches. We were amazed by the apartment as it is beautiful. We requested extra linen and sheets which were delivered on the same day. The internet was excellent speed and we were able to watch netflix off the television which made the evenings really enjoyable. We have already recommended the apartment to friends and family. Thank you so much for a great time in London."

  • Lovely apartment with some caveats

"We are a California couple who love to get to know a city. We had 13 nights at Queens Gate and overall would recommend this apartment. The pluses: spotless and well-maintained, spacious, good amenities including washer/dryer, instant hot water dispenser in kitchen, dishwasher, well equipped with plenty of dishes, glassware and utensils, elevator, extra half bathroom, large tub with shower. The apartment was larger than we anticipated! Why it isn't a 5 * star: The WiFi is spotty and unbearably slow. The bedroom faces Queens Gate, which is a busy street. There is noticeable street noise, both from cars and Imperial College students. Light sleepers should be aware of this. The windows are not soundproof. There is very limited storage. One closet in the bedroom, and the vacuum cleaner and linens take up half of the closet floor. There is one dresser with three very shallow full drawers and 2 very shallow half drawers. The drawers don't open smoothly. The coat hooks in the entry were limited, so if you have umbrellas, rain coats, etc there is very little space to store them. The tenants in the apartment across the hall smoke cigars and the odor was very strong many evenings. The elevator works fine, but frequently tenants seemed not to close both doors which prevented it from responding. Fortunately we had to walk down more often than up! Location: A10 minute walk to three museums. 1/2 mile to the Gloucester Street Station ( Piccadilly and District/Circle Line. Convenient to Gloucester Road local shops and restaurants but this is clearly a residential neighborhood. if you are planning to go to theater and enjoy high-end dining, you will be on the tube, bus or Uber every night. Ivy Lettings was very professional to deal with in advance, promptly responding to email communication, sending reminder notices, etc. Our only disappointment in dealing with them was that the representative who met us at the apartment seemed extremely rushed and not particularly knowledgeable about the neighborhood. She basically handed us the keys, the notebook with info, showed us the layout of the apartment and left within 5 minutes of our arrival. Our overall experience was positive and for the price, a great place to call home while in London."
