  • Beautiful Cotswold cottage

"The property was exactly as described in the listing. Lovely traditional features with tasteful modernisation, very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is a very nice feature and both bathrooms have been well upgraded. The owner was very helpful and agreed more flexible arrival and departure times. We ate at the local Horse and Groom on Saturday night and had lunch at the Royal White Hart in Moreton in Marsh on Sunday; both very good. There are lovely walks in the area, including the Cotswold Way, at Chipping Campden. Highly recommended for a weekend stay."

"From the time we walked in the door to find a complimentary bottle of wine and fixin's for tea, we felt welcomed and right at home. The grounds around the area were charming - we even had a male pheasant and 10 or so grouse that appeared every evening. The accommodation was exactly right for two and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay."

  • Warm and homely

"We booked our Christmas family gathering this year at Peewit House and found it to be very lovely indeed. The house was well presented, clean and spacious enough for our party of 10 adults and 2 babies. The owners had supplied a good size Christmas tree and other decorations to compliment the houses warm and cozy feel. The location is quiet, approx 5 mins drive outside Moreton-in-Marsh, and you're within a 15 min drive of several other beautiful towns, country pubs and walks. Kathleen was very approachable and helpful throughout the booking process and I would highly recommend a stay."

  • Cute cottage...peaceful area

"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is a cute little cottage...that comes with very steep steps. The kitchen had the basics but could have been a little better equipped (no large salad bowl), a wee bit cleaner but did have nice wine glasses and champagne glasses. Despite the cold temps, we did not turn on the heat = except to dry some clothes. The fire was nice and I did ask for extra firewood...which came in handy with 7 C temps. Overall we had a good stay and liked the location for access to all the cute little villages."
