  • Quiet, good views and a neat little apartment.

"I stayed here whilst attending a course at Newlyn art school. The flat is a 5 min walk away (though down the hill then back up the hill), and it was really convenient. It's obviously an extension to the owners home, but was really comfortable and perfect for a short stay. Stephanie had left bread, milk and butter, and there is every thing you need in the flat for your stay, including slippers and a dressing gown! The kitchen is compact but with a full oven and hob, plus microwave. If I return to do another art class, I would have no hesitation returning to this holiday home. The only complaint really was that it was the first cold snap of the year, and it was a little chilly in the flat, as the heating only seemed to come on at about 8 in the evening, but not in the morning. ( But for a summer break, this would not be a problem. ) It is a quiet flat with little night time noise, but only a 5 /10 min walk to the shops and restaurants."

  • Great little cottage

"This little cottage was very well fitted out, the kitchen was good and the shower was excellent. Bern and Claire were charming and helpful hosts and the little maze of grassy paths through the large garden delighted our dog. The nearest pub was in the neighbouring village of Paul and could be walked along the bridle paths in 30 minutes (muddy in places) or 25 minutes along the lanes. Mousehole, Porthleven, Sennan Cove and St Ives are all well worth visiting. Nearest Supermarket was Lidl, about 10 minutes away."

  • A lovely hideaway

"This L-shaped bungalow is a well fitted out barn conversion. It is very comfortable and the furnishings are lovely. The location is great, just off the A30, but only 5 miles from Sennen and Penzance. We had good weather despite it being November and we always found somewhere to have a coffee and a snack when out and about. There is a wood - burning stove at the Byre but sadly we didn't need to try it as the weather was too warm. The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds are comfortable. The wifi, however, is not the best. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave."
