  • Gorgeous cottage, relaxing setting

"Gorgeous cottage! So clean and well equipped. Full of character and style, finished to an extremely high standard. So relaxing in front of the fire after a full day out and about. Had a great week exploring Penrith and the surrounding area. Our 2 1/2 year old loved the garden and tractor! Would definitely recommend! Thankyou for a great stay!"

  • Very clean, nicely set out comfortable and well equipped Cottage.

"I knew the moment I stepped through the door that I was going to feel comfortable in this lovely little cottage, very well situated in Kirkoswald village with two good pubs almost on your doorstep, recommending The Crown Inn, especially for Steak night on Thursdays, great value!! we booked for it as soon as we got there and was glad we did as it gets very busy. The people in the village were very friendly. Totally enjoyed our 6 days at Kirkoswald, we have seen some great places and will definitely be returning."

  • Romantic idyll in beautiful surroundings.

"Beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings. A cozy retreat. Perfectly placed for Lakes and the Pennines. Gorgeous walks from cottage and major attractions only a short drive away. Private, tranquil, peaceful and relaxing. Excellent facilities. Large wood-burning stove. Large private garden with a beck forming the boundary at the bottom of the garden. Wild birds and red squirrels just outside landscape window. Host very welcoming, helpful and charming. Very highly recommended. Can't wait for a return visit."
