  • Magnificent in every way

"This is a real find. The property, location, space, comfort, furnishing and warm welcome from both Christine and Malcolm is truly special. Having booked a late Bank Holiday family break, we could not have been more pleased with our choice of holiday home. The quality of this property has to be seen, the pictures do not do it justice. Every aspect offers a home from home, relaxed environment with lots of room for our family of 6. From the luxury en-suite in every bedroom, to the spacious open plan lounge overlooking open countryside, this house offered us everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing break. Our whole family really enjoyed the stay and all want to return."

  • Lovely clean flat

"We had 3 full grown adults in this lovely flat. The rooms are more spacious then the pictures depict and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bed sofa was large enough. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus and the shower was top notch. The property manager was friendly and very helpful. The location was within a 15 minute walk to the city centre and plenty of shopping nearby."

  • Extremely pleasant cottage.

"My wife and I stayed here with our Staffie, we enjoyed it that much we stayed an extra night. The cottage is set in the grounds alongside the main house (it is detached). It is very comfortable and has everything you need, although the kitchen is small (I don't go on holidays to cook!), it is fine for making an evening snack. The front garden is quite large ( our staffie loved it) and although the description says it's shared, we had it all to ourselves as the main house has a large back garden. Charlotte, the owner was never intrusive but always happy to give any information if needed. The entrance and drive is a bit tight, but I managed it in my van. The village has two pubs and a Spar, the pubs are dog friendly (they have dogs themselves), but unless you are desperate, eat elsewhere! (only one does food and not every day). The locals in the pubs and in the village are extremely friendly and our Staffie had loads of hugs, in fact I don't think he wanted to come home! Overall we had a lovely stay (although the great weather helped) and I would recommend it to couples with or without dogs."

  • A spotless cottage.

"We arrived weary after a long, slow journey and were thrilled to find the cottage exceeded our expectations. It was clean, bright, well-maintained and furnished in a simple, modern style. The layout was flexible to make play space for our grandson and easy to clean. The toy sack in the living room was a real success and the board games amused the adults. The owners were available if we wanted anything but left us to make ourselves at home during our stay. We visited the area for a family gathering but enjoyed days out at Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Bicton Park Botanical Gardens. I am sure we will return and would recommend the property. Thank you!"
