  • Excellent!

"We all thouroughly enjoyed the stay at Pippins. The house was perfect for all 8 of us and we were not left wanting for anything. We loved Wareham especially the 'Old Granary' restaurant. The fireplace was a big hit with the family, and we all loved the seating areas. Overall the house and area was perfect for our stay, and we would love to come back next year. Thanks to Bill for being really helpful and always replaying to the numerous emails I sent!! Richard O'Grady"

  • A great week away...

"We had a wonderful week at The Cart House over new year, with three generations of the one family in the house, aged 80 to 2 years. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs, especially with the annex so that the grandparents could escape the noise and early mornings of the kids. The Cart House was really well located and we found that after a week we still hadn't done everything on offer - we did walks, Corfe Castle, the tank museum, Lyme Regis, TE Lawrence's house, Thomas Hardy's birthplace and more. There are some lovely, family-friendly walks nearby (eg Sika). The owner of the house was very helpful and accommodating with or requests and questions. A great week - thoroughly recommended!"

  • Cosy comfortable well equipped cottage

"On our arrival we were greeted by the owners, Nick and Lauran, they were so friendly and welcoming. Lauran showed us round the cottage and made sure we knew how everything worked and had all that we needed - she had kindly left milk and teabags in case we needed a cuppa! The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, we found the beds gave us a good nights sleep. Its well equipped and has a little private garden area too, there are some garden chairs should you wish to sit outside. It is in a very pretty village and a quiet spot yet within easy reach of lots of super places. The village has a good shop and post office, excellent doctors surgery (my daughter had an ear infection so we tested the doctors out!) and you can get onto the main A35 in minutes and reach Dorchester in 10 minutes and Poole in 30 minutes. We didn't eat there but the Blue Vinny would be very handy - just a walk down the drive and across the road. All in all a very good place to stay - we would recommend and definitely would use this cottage again ourselves. Thank you very much to Nick and Lauran."

  • Amazing property, home from home.

"What a wonderful home, the minute we walked through the door it felt comfortable and the attention to detail is great, you don't want for anything and the house is comfortable and cosy and decor beautiful, can't wait to return. The owners were brilliant to work with with any questions we had. Thank you Mike and Julia."
