  • Really enjoyable stay

"The photo's of this property do not do it justice, it is quirky, prettily decorated, warm and very well equipped. We were welcomed with everything to make tea or coffee as well as lovely home made scones with jam and clotted cream, much appreciated. The location is great between St Ives and Penzance so not far to drive to get to all the lovely places around there."

  • The hayloft is a beautifully restored property in an idyllic location.

"A stunning place to stay, beautifully restored. The location is idyllic, quiet and perfect for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail e.g. Bottles of wine on arrival and things to make a hearty breakfast the following morning. It is a quiet location and although there is a pub in the next village (about 20 minutes walk) the accomodation is so beautiful we preferred to stay for cosy evenings in. The owner Mark is attentive without being intrusive; at the time of our stay work was being carried out in the adjoining building but we hardly noticed. We would thoroughly recommend this property and will definitely be returning."

  • A Posh Pad in The City

"You will be very pleased by this posh pad. Not only is the unit comfortable and spacious, the location is perfect. The neighborhood is quiet, yet central to just about everything you would wish to access. During the day, the City is bustling with activity, yet there are no pubs within listening distance to provide you with potentially uninvited evening ambiance (there are plenty of pubs within a 5-minute walk, but you don't hear them). With the Bank tube station around the corner, we expended little effort visiting all our favorite haunts. The central living space is two stories grand and, frankly, made us feel a bit like a royal. With the large arched windows and the ornate ceiling, one might think this was simply an elegant extension of the church next door. The kitchen is easily serviceable and the bedroom is right-sized comfort. There are other units in the building, but you could have fooled us because we never heard anyone else. The front entrance hall provides a nice place to adjust your soul from outside to inside which enhances the living space all the more. I must admit that I had trouble with the washer and dryer setup. I think most of the trouble was self-inflicted because I am American and despite years of travel to London. I have never figured out how to use the washing machines. If you are experienced in this area, the machines are in great condition and you will do well. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. Regardless of what experiences you have had with Home Away type venues; you will rate this unit as one of your favorites. P.S. Don’t worry about a toaster because the cooker toasts bread without a fuss."

  • Lovely cottage - highly recommended!

"My sister and I have just spent 3 nights here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautifully furnished, warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Mick and his wife were incredibly helpful and I would not hesitate in recommending this as a lovely place to stay. We very much hope to come back again."
