  • Wonderful Two Bedroom Apartment in the Heart of Ancient Beaune

"Laura and Franck's two bedroom apartment couldn't have been located any better to do everything in Beaune by foot, including a short walk to the train station. Beaune is an ancient walled city that is filled with amazing restaurants and attractions that make your journey along the coblestone roads a delight. Laura and Franck have created a very spacious apartment with more than enough room for two couples and it is fully equipped with everything you could want. Oh, and how great was it that there is a patisserie a few doors away that made it so convenient to get our morning pasteries and bagettes. We so enjoyed our visit of a week to this wonderful apartment and Beaune. We will treasure our memories forever and will happily recommend this apartment to our friends."

  • Wonderful stay! Comfortable apartment for a family of four, great location, amenities and value.

"Our family of four stayed in Olivia's 2 bedroom apartment in Beaune for three nights in October and we wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment is spacious and comfortable and far exceeded our expectations (it is nicer than the pictures)--it is well-heated for the cool nights, the sheets and comforters are incredibly luxurious, comfortable and fresh, and there were good towels and plenty of space and equipment and supplies in the the kitchen (refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee makers, toaster, pots and pans, salt and pepper and spices, some tea/coffee--a lot of your basics to prepare a meal and eat at home--my only complaint might be that we couldn't find any plates, but that was probably an oversight, and since our stay was short, we just made do and did not ask for them). There is wifi and TV with English channels in the apartment (though we did not watch much TV). The apartment is beautifully decorated, sunny, and we slept incredibly well in the beds. There is even a washing machine, and we did a load of wash and hung our clothes to dry, so that we did not have to travel with our laundry. The shower has great water pressure, and the bathroom is very functional (good amount of counter space to put our toiletries, good hot water, hair dryer if you need it, hooks, storage space in a small cabinet). Outside, there is a lovely park nearby where our children played on the playground. Beaune itself is lovely and has some fantastic restaurants. The wine region surrounding Beaune is absolutely stunning, and has so much to offer in terms of charming villages, and amazing food and wine (much better than what we experienced in the Loire valley earlier in our trip). My husband and I rented bikes and biked through Pommard, Volnay and Mersault with our children (one in a trailer, one on a baby seat). The apartment is not hard to find! You can look at the map on the VRBO site, and the small cul-de-sac/alley that the apartment is located on is labeled number 27 on the Rue Faubourg Saint-Martin. the small alley is located between Rue du Clos des Capucins and Rue du Clos Pothier. We had a wonderful stay at Olivia's apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it highly to friends and hope to return soon!"

  • Wonderful!!!

"We travel to Europe each fall and always stay in Homeaway properties. This is one of the finest we have ever had the pleasure so staying. The apartment is on one floor with wonderful decorations, and accommodations. Great kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. Extremely clean and well furnished. Good TV with English news stations and excellent Wifi. Joce is one of the best best we have ever stayed with! Always attentive to your needs. Excellent parking. Beaune is a fantastic town with everything you need for your stay. Great grocery, bakery, bars, etc. Highly recommend and would be happy to answer any questions about the property. • Second time was even better!

"This was our second trip to Beaune. My husband and I decided to sneak in an anniversary trip. Much to my delight, he selected France! This is largely due to the fact that his wish was to return to Beaune and to Beaune Rousseau specifically. We visited very briefly in the Summer of 2015. Our stay was only a couple of days, but long enough to know we wanted to come again. The property owners are wonderful. When I shared the details of our plan with them they worked to make it happen and to pick us up at the train. Beaune is a wonderful town in Burgundy, filled with delightful people and moments. And wine!!! The apartment is nestled in the middle of the old town. Above a restaurant that smells divine, and on the same block as a boulangerie, patisserie, chocolatier...need I say more. It sits below a lovely chapel and is just awesome. I will share with you that the photos don't do the property justice, the decor has been updated and is beautiful and relaxing. I want to see more of France, but I know that this was probably not my last visit to Beaune and Beaune Rousseau."
