  • Springtime in Villefranche

"We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Ms. Woods apartment in April 2016. It came highly recommended from friends who had stayed there. We were charmed with the coziness and the amazing views. The apartment was equipped with everything and more that you would need. Cafes and groceries were close by and Debby was always available by email to answer any questions and make recommendations. We did not have a car but once we became familiar with the bus transportation, we went everywhere; Nice, Canne, Monte Carlo. The quiet beauty of Villefranche was always nice to come back to at the end of the day.I could certainly say that anyone who wanted to explore the South of France would love the location of Ms. Woods home."

  • Beautiful apartment in Villefranche

"Loved the apartment...Close and convenient to everything. Dvd/tv wasn't working for us but wasn't really an issue since we weren't in the apt much. They said they would take care of for next rental. Keep in mind it is on the top floor and no elevator. This was not an issue for us but some may have issues. Only current negative is that I still haven't gotten my security deposit back and no response to my email from a few days ago."

  • Cosy apartment in the heart of Villefranche!

"We rented this charming apartment for 10 days in July. It lays right smack in the middle of Villefranche on the main street. The location is fantastic! The soundproof windows don’t let in the slightest sound when closed, even though the sound of the street is one of our loveliest memories. Cecile, the owner (with her husband Fred) is one of the most kind, trusting people we have ever met. They were very easygoing and answered swiftly on all our requests. Cecile is a tour guide and gave us great advice as of what to see and where to go. The apt. is on the second floor up a steep stairway, but it’s worth the climb. A great sea view from the balcony, where we ate breakfast and even dinner. Charming one room apt. for 2/3 people with great air-condition and all you need of equipment. Very clean. No dishwasher though, but that didn’t bother us at all. Extra bedlinen and towels since we were staying 10 days, which we were just to let lay as we left. I can’t boast enough of this young couple and their apartment. We will visit Villefranche again, and we know exactly where we would like to live again."

  • Shelley & Riccardo made this a most memorable trip

"I can't begin to describe our experience with Shelley and Riccardo and the "Little Jewel" in Villefranche. Starting with the reservation process, the deposit and fianl payment was a breeze, they stayed in touch throughout, and answered all questions in a very timeley manner. Riccardo reached out to us before taking off from the U.S. and arranged for a Taxi to Villefrance ( excellent). We knew where to meet Riccardo ( La Mere Germaine) and he was prompt, courteous and it felt like we already knew each other. He helped us with luggage and we made our way to the apartment. The Keys (for 3 locks) were easy to use and we never had a problem. When you walk into the apartment, your first thought is WOW !!! Immaculate !!! Riccardo then gave us a very thorough overview of how to operate everything in the apartment. Everything in the apartment is of superior quality and Shelley's exquisite taste is evident throughout. The lighting was superb, the paintings and artwork beautiful. Wifi worked great, music system fantastic, and unlimited calls back to the U.S. I especailly like the MANY electrical outlets, which you often don't find in Europe. Other posts will tell you about the village and surrounding cities and the numerous things to do. Lastly, Shelley took the time to have printed many many helpful tips to make the visit that much more enjoyable, thinkgs like bus lines, train information, walking trips, the beach, etc etc. You can tell that for Shelley and Riccardo, this is a labor of love. We are already planning our return trip next year, hopefully for two weeks. THANKS SHELLEY AND RICCARO !!!!!"
