  • Great spot in centre of old town

"The apartment was as nice as the pictures and suited our needs. The location was perfect. We were a bit concerned with the steepness and narrowness of the stairs. We were unprepared for the effort required to move luggage up and down two flights of stairs."

  • A bit of heaven by the sea

"A wonderful warm and cozy flat, lovingly decorated by an artist, and ideally located on the quiet pedestrian paths in Villefranche's old town! Delicious restaurants, a casino supermarket, boulangerie, butcher, vegetable stand, et. al., are only steps away, and the sea (and train) a two to five minute walk. You will not find a more gracious hostess than Marie! She took time out of her day to walk us through the area and guide me to parking. A car is definitely optional, given the proximity to public transport. Truly a gem! Thank you, Marie!"

  • Great location and very well equipped apartment

"The apartment is just as it looks in the pictures. It is very well equipped with very high quality furnishings, it is very clean and everything works well. There isn't any air conditioning, but we stayed through a very hot and humid week and it wasn't a problem - the doors are large and can be left open at night and the residence feels safe and secure. It is a 15 minute stroll to the train station and a few minutes more to town where there are plenty of excellent restaurants to choose from. The beach is a few minutes walk away and there is a pool at the residence. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions, and the agent was very welcoming and helpful too so there is plenty of support if anything goes wrong. There is a fairly hefty deposit to pay, but it is justified by the quality of the fittings - and ours was repaid without any issue on departure. The only downside for us is that there was quite a lot of noise from the road and from the carpark below the apartments. The view, however, goes a long way to compensate, and being on the end means that there is a wide view across the bay to the town. Tall trees prevent an uninterrupted view of the bay, but it is a wonderful outlook and the huge balcony means that it can be enjoyed all the time. Villefranche sur Mer is an interesting town to explore, and the train gives quick and easy access to all the towns along the coast. Would also recommend a visit to the old town of Eze."

  • Breath-taking beautiful view of Cote´d Azur

"This Apartment is exactly as beautiful a location as the pictures indicate. Actually the pictures can not capture the real beauty off the view you get from the 30 feet balcony. Both the daytime and especially the evening view is just amazing. We travelled as a family 2 adults and 4 boys between 3-11 years old. The Apartment was sufficient in size and most of our time at the apartment we spent outside on the balcony or at the pool area. The pool was nice and clean with enough room for both kids and adults and for relaxing in the sun. Our overall experience of the apartment and pool exeded our expectations. The place was clean and well maintained. The Owner Larry has provided a top level service before during and after our stay. Well beyond our expectations. During our stay we went on numerous trips to the sea to other towns and naturally to Nice which is very close by. There are too many lovely places to mention but Larry has a full book of good places to go. That is a good guideline if you need inspiration. The little pizza restaurant on the top of hill across the Casino supermarket is worth a vist for a cosy evening dinner It is close to the road but very nice local food. This is a apartment that I would like to revisit and a place I would recommend to my friends and relatives. Only small notion is of course that when you live at a place with and elevated view you will have to climb some steps if you walk to and from the village. But it is only a 15 min walk to the sea still and the view outweigh by far the small walk. All in all one of our best vacation apartments and we have see quite a few."
