  • Just as good as everyone said

"What a beautiful apartment ! And the view was spectacular !! Thanks to Victoria for picking us up at the train station .. She was great about getting us to the apartment Wish we were coffee lovers, the coffee bar was incredible Victoria pointed out a few places to shop - a Boulanger, grocery store, wine shop etc. A few suggestions Don't make the same mistake we did when going to Monoprix - we didn't go in because it looked like a department store - upstairs is a wonderful grocery store - not to be missed !! There's a wonderful Boulanger across the street from Monoprix called Poupart Piquot Patissier Boulanger Traiteur 115 Bd de Grenelle - green colored front - everything was delicious and the young man working there spoke English and very kind Be sure to shop Rue de Commerce When you go to the Eiffel Tower - go to the Trocadero metro stop and see the Eiffel Tower from there - it's across the Seine river and has a spectacular view from there ... Easy on easy off the metro Mass at 11:30 at Notre Dame was really special - the choir sang like angels St Suplice was a wonderful surprise Just walking the banks of the Seine is special ... Walking is great - get lost and find new places to love For a quirky tip - go to the Park Hyatt Vendome and have a hot chocolate or frozen hot chocolate - you'll get the best truffles ever ( in my opinion) don't be shy to ask for seconds - can't be purchased there, too bad ! Really good Back to the apartment - Paula has everything you could want .. There is a scale in the apartment but it doesn't work ( might be the only thing that needs attention ) beautiful apartment The shower and tub were wonderful- having a washer and dryer really great as well ... The bed was like sleeping on a cloud Thank you for everything Paula and Victoria"

  • Fabulous Apartment in a Wonderful Location

"This spacious and exquisitely maintained apartment is located in the 11th Arrondisement but is really conveniently located to reach all of Paris easily. Bus 96 stops almost at the front door and connects you to stops on its way to the Gare Montparnasse in southern Paris. Metro Line 2 is a 2-minute walk. Metro line 3 is 5-minutes walk. You are less than one mile from Place de la Republique in one direction, same to Pere Lachaise cemetery in another, and one mile to Place Bastille in another direction. You can walk to the Louvre Museum in 30 minutes. You are only twenty-thirty minutes by Metro from all of the famous Paris tourist attractions. There are scads of restaurants of every type of food in every direction just minutes walk away. It is an eclectic neighborhood that gives you an idea of what modern, not touristy Paris, is all about. The landlord and her agent are just wonderful, warm, and very helpful people. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable, also. Neither speaks English; however, but that will not be an issue and you will still be able to check in. The apartment has two large bedrooms, each with a queen size bed (though one is a sleeper sofa type fold down). The bathroom is large and modern but there is no shower. The tub is big enough for two and is equipped with a spray nozzle meaning you have to kneel or sit in the tub to rinse off. Easy to use and very efficient. Lots of towels and sheets are provided. There is a well equipped and modern kitchen with a large refrigerator and real freezer. There is a four burner electric range with an oven. The living and dining area is large with windows that overlook the small square outside. You can sit at the dining table and watch a veritable parade of people of numerous cultures walk past every day, including samples of all of the latest fashions that Parisians are wearing today. This apartment is on the first floor so you will have to walk up about 16 steps but the steps are wide and easily managed. This apartment is perfect for everyone except someone in a wheelchair. I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Everything was perfect

"Our visit was the 1st week of October, 2016, and the weather cooperated. The crispness in the air made it perfect for walking. The location was close to Moulin Rouge, plenty of sights nearby, lot's of little shops around the corner to grab a bite or have a full dinner, or even grab food for going back to the apartment to cook. The gardens on the grounds were beautiful. There were children playing and birds chirping and yet, it was a peaceful environment. Google it, the place is just as perfect as the photos shown. It is probably 3 miles from downtown, but the bus is convenient and subway is just around the corner, making everything close without the noise of downtown, even for us during Fashion Week. We loved it and you will too!"
