  • Fabulous

"The apartment was just perfect for us. Good location, safe feeling neighborhood. Great kitchen. There were seven of us and we were all very comfortable. I recommend it highly. KT, Nevada"

  • Classiest and best kept Paris apartment building ever. And quiet street at night.

"We've stayed in several apartments in this price bracket in Paris but this one was the cleanest and quietest. Also the classiest. The woman who greets you downstairs is friendly and is great at keeping a safe feeling around the hallways. The lush red carpets, and the quaint 2 person elevator that works beautifully all adds to the charm. The actual apartment is very comfortable for two couples. With the sliding door that separated the living room space from the rest of the apartment it was like getting a two bedroom for the price of one. It was a little awkward but do-able if your budget cannot afford a two bedroom. The kitchen was a dream kitchen to work in. The big window in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and livingroom allowed lots of daylight and fresh air in. At night in the living room, we slept with the window slightly open and there was minimal noise considering we were in the middle of Paris. Our taxi driver told us too, this is a quiet family neighborhood. The subway was a 2-3 block walk away. There were two bakeries within a couple of blocks. It was easy to get around from this home base. Living is easy and comfortable from this apartment. The extra supplies in the kitchen, and all the cleaning supplies you could need, towels and extra pillows and blankets were all bonuses. Big closets allowed our stuff to be put away without feeling lke you were living out of a suitcase. Would stay again no problem."

  • Clean, cozy and convenient

"This little apartment could not be better placed for exploring Paris. Despite being close to three major boulevards it is very quiet (except when the inevitable wheelie bins are rolled out each morning - has nobody ever heard of rubber tyres?) and there is almost no traffic on the narrow street. We slept with the window open and never heard more than muffled, subdued noise from the other apartments either. The apartment is clean and bright with everything you need, a full bath and even a heated towel rail which was great for drying. There is an eclectic assortment of crockery as well as some basic condiments for cooking. But be sure to ask Fabrice how the cooktop works, we never did discover how to turn it on though there seemed to be a manual for everything else! We found the mattress was quite comfortable and not particularly hard (see other reviews). The couch however may have "charm" but in reality is a bit shabby and uncomfortable. That's the only negative thing I can think of really, and I would certainly stay here again."
