  • Delightful Parisian apartment - perfect location!

"This apartment is delightful - the decor is lovely , the apartment was very spacious and comfortable for our family of four. It offered all the amenities of home with the delights of Paris. The location is fabulous, in the middle of the action but incredibly quiet. There is a plethora of excellent restaurants, even for vegans. You will find groceries , shops, metro stops nearby. Fabulous museums, la Seine ... are just a short walk away. Thanks to the owner, Gunnar and his team for sharing this wonderful property."

  • A big, charming apartment with a great location for touring Paris

"My family spent a great weekend at Rocco's place. It was our first time using VRBO and Rocco made it easy; he was flexible about our arrival time and was there to let us in and explain everything when we arrived. It was my kids' first time in Paris and the location was perfect for people aiming to see the classic sights: an easy walk to the Louvre, the Pompidou, and Notre Dame, and the subway at Les Halles is just steps away. And the market shops of the Rue Montorgeuil are a 10-minute walk at most; in the morning you can stock up with fresh bread and cheese and have a great breakfast with a view of the city. (And if you don't want to walk even 10 minutes the boulangerie right across the street is good too.) Staying with our kids, it was a nice luxury to have two bathrooms. The pull-out couch was comfortable and plenty big enough for our 11-year-old and 6-year-old, and there's a nice partition you can pull shut so whoever's sleeping on the couch doesn't get woken up by whoever's moving around the apartment. Small but functional kitchen, and Rocco is kind enough to leave bottled water, crackers, and jam for his guests. Everything was in perfect working order. If I have any small warning it's that there's a bit of noise at night -- probably unavoidable in such a central location! I could hear people talking on the street and recorded announcements from the train station until pretty late. But I'm a light sleeper and I'm the only one who noticed; it didn't bother my wife and kids at all."

  • Really really tiny, but location couldn't be better

"If you are over 5'10" (1.78m) tall - forget it. If you are over 40" (100cm) around the middle - forget it. Apart from those caveats, this tiny place is almost perfect. Missing a few small details, like a dishcloth, napkins and a bread knife, but it even has a dishwasher. I have never seen a dishwasher the size of a microwave, but that's what's there! There is also a Nespresso machine hidden away behind the microwave - no space is wasted. The toilet could use a soap dish, a towel rail, and a toilet roll holder, but there is plenty of hot water. The bed is comfortable. The heating works (can't comment on air conditioning). Might be a bit claustrophobic for some as there are no windows, only skylights. There is an elevator but you do have a few stairs to manipulate at the top. Tight, narrow and twisty - large, heavy suitcases are a definite problem. Adrien was really helpful and all services were delivered as promised. The location can't be beaten. Worth a serious look for two (not large) people for a limited stay."

  • Picturesque Perfection!

"What can we say that hasn't already been said? The apartment is charming in every detail. The location is magnificent. Place Dauphine is a sanctuary of calm in the midst of the lively city of Paris. Just next door to the apartment you'll find La Caveau du Palais. We enjoyed two wonderful evenings there. Across the way, La Rose de France also makes for a lovely dining experience. Everything we wished to see, with the exception of La Defense, was within walking distance, even on the chilliest day of our visit. Mia, our experience was memorable; we will be in touch."
