  • Great property and and fabulous location!

"We recently spent 5 nights in your property. It was a perfect location for exploring all that Paris has to offer with our two kiddos. The apartment was well equipped which included a washer/dryer and even a step stool for our littles ones to reach the bathroom sink. :) Rue Cler was a wonderful place to spend the evening after a great day of sightseeing. We all had a terrific time and will cherish our memories of the City of Light. Many thanks to Valerie, David and Rosa. Everyone was super helpful!"

  • Great location, comfortable, large apartment with all you need.

"The apartment is very conveniently located a block from the Metro, and 2 blocks from the bus stop (which we found to be a more pleasant and easier way to get around.. take bus #69 right to the Eiffel Tower). You are only one block from a major street with lots of activity, yet the street the apartment is on is very quiet. From CDG we took the Air France bus "Le Cars" to Gare de Lyon train station, then a quick 2 stop Metro ride to St. Paul exit. We purchased our bus tickets online before we left home. This was a very easy way to get to the apartment, and about half the cost of private transportation. We only had our rollerboard suitcases and back packs (1 each) however. If you've got lots of luggage, this would be too hard. You could, however, still easily take the "Le Cars" bus to the train station, then catch a cab to the apartment. It was easy to find the keys in the lockbox. Head's up though.. as you enter the front door of the building you may be met with a strong smell of cigarette smoke, coming from the ground floor apartment. We were there in April and it was cold outside, but the heaters in the apartment worked quickly and well. The shower has good water pressure and lots of hot water. The kitchen had coffee, tea, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Nice not to have to rush out to buy these little staples. Another nice surprise was finding laundry detergent already there. There's a small washer/dryer, but it works well and is so nice to have. There's a well stocked little grocery store on the same street as the apartment, going West. We also really liked the little Cidreria (they have great crepe's), and Spanish Tapas restaurant at the east end of the street and around the corner (the cards for these restaurants are in the welcome book). There are a lot of restaurants, bakeries, chocolate shops, and a Starbucks near the apartment. The bed was comfortable, with a comfy duvet and lots of pillows. There was ample closet and drawer space. There are a few English speaking channels on TV, but they're all news. Bring a few DVD's with you if you want something to watch in English. But although the DVD player is there and connected, we couldn't figure it out. We got sound, but no picture. Also, we had planned to call home (USA) since calls were free, but we couldn't figure out the phone. We would dial and get a recording in French that we couldn't understand. The Wi-Fi worked great, though. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Big space in a great location!

"We were 5 adults w/ 5 kids and stayed here very comfortably. The apart is very spacious w/ a big living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. The rest of the bedrooms are mostly geared towards children but some of the bunk beds are large enough to sleep two adults comfortably. Kitchen was very modern w/ everything you would ever need there. You can't beat the location. In a quiet neighborhood (not a lot of noise from either foot or car traffic) but very close to plenty of action, including great bars, and restaurants off of Ternes and Poncelet (outdoor market and plenty of shops/bars/restaurants). You are also four blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. The only minor challenge we had was with only having one shower (there is also a large tub but it's meant for soaking/relaxing more than washing). John was always very quick to answer any questions and very helpful. Next time we are in Paris w/ a large group, this will be the place we check for availability. Thanks for a great stay."
