  • Can't Beat This Location or This View

"My wife and I are just back from a 7 day stay here. We found the apartment to be charming, clean, and comfortable. The Ile St. Louis is where you want to be. It feels very French to ride an elevator down, walk 50 steps and buy croissants for breakfast or a baguette for the day. There is a small but accommodating grocery store on the main street. Flowers, cheese, and wine shops are also steps away. There are several nice cafes where you can sit, sip a drink, watch the buskers on the bridge, and view the back of Notre Dame. An ATM is half a block from the apartment. You can hear Notre Dame's bells ring. Being up on the 5th (US 6th) floor keeps the street noise down, too. The view of the Seine and the rooftops is exactly what the photos show and very few rental apartments can match it. The owner Guillaume was very helpful with making arrangements. If anybody has any concerns about booking the apartment, feel free to contact me. There is no metro stop on the Ile St. Louis but a short walk to St. Paul or Cite is easy. We found the Uber services in Paris to be affordable and very prompt. We never waited over 5 minutes for a pickup. Also- I recommend that you splurge just a bit and hire the car service. After the long flight, you don't want to be hassled by an unfriendly taxi driver. Alex was waiting for us at the airport and took us to his Mercedes sedan parked nearby. He was prompt on the early morning return to the airport, too. If you are unsure on renting an apartment vs. booking a hotel, give this a try. It is nice not to eat out every single meal. Also, one can pack fewer clothes because the apartment has a washer/dryer."

  • Best location and value in Paris!

"This was my first time staying on the left bank and will forever more be my preferred destination in Paris. Metro Odeon is a very short walk and there are probably 50 restaurants/cafes within a 5 minute walk, many within 1 minute. There is a full service supermarket (Carrefour), as well as a couple of smaller ones, within a 3 minute walk for all of your grocery needs). This area oozes with charm and if you stay here, you will feel like a resident of Paris. If you compare this location with similar or even higher priced properties, for 2 people, this place will rate at the very top in terms of value, location and an owner that goes out of his way to make you comfortable. I can't imagine a better spot in Paris or the St. Germain area. I stayed here for 9 days and will definitely stay here again!"

  • Visit Paris as a Parisian-great place to for your visit!!!

"If you are going to Paris and want to experience this wonderful city as a Parisian and not as tourist this is the perfect place for your stay. You are nestled quietly within the Place des Vogues with all the amenities of a home and access to the city of Paris. The apartment itself while located in the historical Place des Vosges district provides 21st century amenities and connections via internet, Wi-Fi, and access to free connections by phone to US . The associates are available to assist you with any problems or challenges that may arise during your stay. The apartment is well laid out with sufficient space for relaxation, conversation, and reflection of your daily adventures in the city itself. The apartment makes you feel like your home- it helps you to just enjoy the present moment -the gift of Paris. Outside the walls of the courtyard are the many interesting and historical places to see while visiting: the Bastille, the Opera, many art galleries, wonderful local restaurants all near three Metro stations. You can walk to the Metro, change to the RER, walk to Seine, the Rue des Rosier, the Opera Bastille, Notre Dame -enjoy the concerts at St Paul's and visit the MonoPrix for your necessities. Your next visit to the city of lights should be as a visitor not a tourist -you will accomplish this by staying at 48 Rue des Tournelles. Thanks for a wonderful experience-hope to return for another visit! Great place to be!!!"

  • Beautiful French apartment in excellent position

"We were two couples who had a wonderful stay in Brigitte's apartment. She was extremely helpful, factual, organised and a wealth of information. The apartment is just gorgeous and we were grateful to be able to stay in amongst such lovely possessions. The only slight comment we would have is the other couple slept on the bed against the wall and felt it dipped in the middle. Maybe it was two single beds put together and possibly best left as singles but this would not take away from staying here again. I was at first a bit tentative about the security deposit required but for anyone considering this apartment I would like to assure you that it is perfectly fine."
