  • Part of Paris history!

"Owners/management were very easy to work with, clear & concise instructions & information. The studio is a beautiful part of Parisian history! The description is accurate, & if you are wanting to immerse yourself, this is a true treat:) It's an active, boisterous, sometimes loud neighborhood, but for my family, we absolutely appreciated everything the studio, Rue St Severin & the Quartier Latin had to offer! We are a family of three. It is close quarters, so if you're not comfortable with that situation, this may not be for your family. We were all in the same room, at almost all times, & my 19 year old daughter slept on the fold out futon mattress. She was in Paris - so she was happy & comfortable :) We had a fantastic experience, & love that this studio is a part of our Paris memories!"

  • Cozy, Comfortable, Close to the Bastille and Notre Dame

"Very comfortable apartment, close to shopping, night life and the Paris attractions. Bus Lines and Metro stations within walking distance. Apartment is upstairs, requiring you to navigate several flights of stairs.. a bit difficult if you're carrying 20 kg luggage. However, once inside, the apartment is charming, with a comfortable sitting area with a multitude of books on Paris and France, a convenient kitchen, and even more convenient washer to do a load of clothes. There is an outside patio area just outside the kitchen area, with a table and two chairs just perfect for sitting and enjoying a bottle of wine, a loaf of french bread, cheese and fruit. The bathroom is large with two sinks, bath and shower, everything is modern and updated. The bedroom is upstairs, not too difficult to navigate the spiral staircase up to the area. Bedroom is large and has large closet space. The apartment manager was very attentive, taking care of us throughout our stay.. We would definitely stay again."

  • An Excellent Flat in a Great Location!

"My wife and I loved the flat. It is spacious, well organized and in a perfect location near restaurants, transportation, shopping and museums. The descriptions on the web site are very accurate and give a good impression of what the flat is actually like. Marie-Ange is very responsive and helpful (by phone), and Emilie met us as arranged and gave us a good briefing on how the appliances worked. The washer/dryer is excellent. Emilie suggested the wash/dry program 13 which leaves the clothes a little damp. I ran the dry only program 11 and interrupted it in mid cycle by pushing the run/pause button and then holding down the on/off switch. The red "door locked" light goes off in a few seconds. The small dishwasher works well. If the dish basket won’t pull out, make sure the front wheels are not caught in the black stops. The front wheels need to be ON TOP of the stops at the bottom front of the wash chamber. The phone is VERY useful, and the G7 English speaking taxi service is efficient and responsive. We used them several times. Internet is fast and reliable. The flat is near Café Le Procope (where Napoleon left his hat for security for the bill) and Mariage Frères, an amazing teashop where you can have, yes, afternoon tea! The Monoprix super market is a few blocks south on Blvd Saint Michel and contrary to what Google says is open on Sunday. The food market is in the basement down the escalator at the back of the store. There are lots of kebob shops and such around the corner. Rue L’Hirondelle (swallow street) is a quick short cut for pedestrians to Place St Michel and Chez Clement, a decent Paris chain restaurant. The flat is on the premier etage (one floor up for yanks) and the staircase is a little tricky for people with limited mobility like my wife. But she managed without too much difficulty. Shouldn’t be a problem for anyone who can climb a flight of stairs. There is a good handrail. Sainte Chapelle, Notre Dame, the Cluny Museum are all within easy walking distance. You can buy your museum pass in the souvenir shop across the Blvd Saint Michel from Ste Chapelle. The location is very convenient to bus (our preferred mode of transportation), Metro, and RER. Lots of storage. Plenty of guide books! The king sized bed is great! We didn't use the futon. It would be a tight squeeze for adults, but good for kids. A GREAT flat for a couple who want a central Paris location. We would highly recommend it to friends and family."
