  • Amazing, spacious apartment with lots of character

"This was an amazing apartment to stay in. It was clean and spacious. The location was great, a block and a half from the famous cafe, Les Deux Magots in one direction, and a block and a half from the Seine in the other. And just across the Seine was the Louvre. The kitchen was modern with everything you need. We were able to eat in many nights, which is a great way to save money on food so we had more for shopping! Of course, we had fresh croissants and a baguette every morning, from Josephine's Boulangerie, just around the corner (right out the front door, right at the corner, closed weekends). Monoprix, a large grocery store, was just two blocks away, so it was easy to stock up on anything we needed. The bathroom was clean and modern, a very nice feature. Other than the updated kitchen and bathroom, the apartment felt like old Paris, which was great. Big windows opened to the street in the living room and bedroom. You could open the window in the kitchen and get a wonderful breeze, just remember to keep the doors from slamming shut in the breeze. The bed in the living room is a full-size queen bed tucked under a built-in bookcase. By day it was a couch, but at night you could pull it out and get a proper bed and not a uncomfortable convertible couch. This was a real plus. The antique furniture and architectural detail gave this apartment tons of character. I've stayed in places that looked like they came from Ikea. Not this place, not at all. You can tell that this is a place someone really cares about. And we did, too."

  • Great Apartment in the heart of Paris!

"We were a family of 5 including a 3 year-old boy. This apartment was absolutely awesome. We loved it the minute we got into the courtyard. It was such a beautiful building, with high ceilings and those beautiful tall windows. I need to find out what time period was that building from. The living room was spacious and plenty of room for a toddler to run around without bumping into furniture. We loved the kitchen table where we had our wonderful croissant breakfast every morning. The bedrooms and bathrooms were the perfect size. Each bedroom had its own closet, but we felt there was not enough room since one of the closet doors was locked. It would have helped if we had the extra space, but we managed. The bedding was very comfortable and the added bonus of the sofa bed was just great for our family of our size. The booking process was great from beginning to end. Both Gaela and Sophie were fantastic. The pick up from the airport was really appreciated since we arrived into Paris under a heavy rain. The apartment looks exactly the way you see it advertised. TV in every bedroom and living room (even though, we didn't turn them on). We also used the dishwasher every day and the washer/dry once. Everything worked to perfection. This area is not only lovely, but there are some many restaurants around it. There is also a beautiful park which was great since we took our grandson there quite a few times. My husband even played Ping-Pong at the park one morning with the local seniors. We were living like the locals. We went to the bakery every morning to buy the fresh baguettes and croissant. There is a book inside the apartment with a lot of recommendation for restaurants and once you start exploring the area, you will come up with your own ones. We were there for six nights and tried five different ones and they were all great. We had no problem with the language since most restaurants in this area speak English. We all loved our stay and wished we had money to buy an apartment in that building and move to Paris. We can only dream!"

"Our second visit to this awesome home. We will definitely be returning again and again. Check in process was extremely easy. Walking distance to lots of sightseeing attractions. Great for family vacations. They may consider replacing the couches in the future for further comfort. Love, love, love this rental."
