  • A Little Bit of Parisian Heaven

"My husband and I stayed six nights in this lovely apartment on Rue Tiquetonne. It is on the 4th floor (5th American), and the stairs are well-lit and solid; but there is also a small lift for when you're tired and it's late. It is very bright and spacious, and for the two of us it was perfect. The colors and furnishings are warm and inviting, with everything being well-coordinated and placed. Modern touches, especially in the kitchen and in the lighting, make it a very comfortable place to be. The kitchen has a dishwasher and Nespresso machine, as well as a washer and dryer (that really dries, not just spins!). There is a binder with instructions on how to use everything -- very helpful! The bedroom has a king bed with fresh, crisp linens and black-out drapes. Cozy and comfortable; we slept quite well. The wi-fi was very good. It is a quiet building and street; we hardly heard anybody. My only concern for the apartment is the shower; you have to climb into it and my tall 6'2" husband could not quite stand straight and had to do adjustments in order for the shower head to reach his hair. If you are elderly or have mobility issues, be extra careful getting in/out. Other than that the bathroom is great, with a heated towel rack and large sink. We LOVED our neighborhood so much. O'scia is great for Neapolitan style pizza, and around every corner there are numerous shops and restaurants and cafes to try out. The Stohrer boulangerie/patisserie is a must--the best baguettes we've had in Paris. On one of the side streets there are several amazing cocktail bars you must visit: Jefrey's and Experimental Cocktail Club are our favorites. Our favorite restaurant a block away is Comptoir de la Gastronomie--fantastic French comfort food and the best onion soup ever. Metro stops and bus stops are so close by, and you can walk to everything--the Pompidou, Notre Dame, Place Vendome, the Marais, the Jewish Quarter, etc. Unlimited fun and adventures. The area is well-lit and very safe, with a lot of activity and energy. But it's so nice to come back to your quiet little haven on Rue Tiquetonne. The owner and her property manager Jean-Paul are very attentive, good with communication, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this apartment!"

  • Great first experience using this type of accomodation

"Very nice apartment with all of the amenities you will need. Great location. Apartment managers were very responsive, extremely easy to work with and accommodating. Definitely a good option over the expense of a hotel."

  • Living like a local

"We stayed for a week during the winter break in this phenomenal property. The apartment is located in a quiet alley just a few steps away from restaurants, bakeries, grocery shops and Paris metro – which can take you ANYWHERE! Some museums and attractions are within walking distance as well (Notre Dame, Louvre, Pompidou, Le Palais Royal) – if you want to burn all the wine, cheese and croissants eaten during the stay. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, with dishwasher and washing machine (useful when packing light). The big living room is very inviting to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day walking around town. The cool décor flows throughout the living spaces and would always hold my attention thinking of the history behind each piece. The communication with the owner prior and during our stay was flawless – Antoine was very helpful and accommodating, with precious suggestions of restaurants, bakeries, and shops. We will definitely visit again and recommend the experience. Thanks, Antoine!"
