  • Marvelous Apartment

"We stayed in this wonderful apartment from October 1 to October 10. It was everything that was described and we loved it. We pretended we were Parisians and the apartment encouraged our fantasies. Having been to Paris many times before, it was not necessary to see and do all the touristy things. However, there was no lack of convenience in the transportation department. The Metro is only steps away and there is a taxi stand adjacent. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance. It is very close to the Republic Square. The square is chock full of restaurants, pastry shops, a creperie and shops. Our favorite little restaurant was right across the small street, Foug. They are Italian and the staff is wonderful. Remembered our favorite wine and poured it as we walked though the door. Wonderful food. We also liked Cafe Pierre which was a short walking distance. The apartment was spacious and very homey. It is in the rear of a very private courtyard and totally free of noise. I would highly recommend this property."

  • Great area, Clean apartement

"This Paris apartment is in a very good location for eats and site-seeing. It is not as upscale and hoity toity as some areas (near Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe, for example) but rather more bohemian. As an American tourist, then, that makes it much more interesting, in my opinion. My traveling companion and I felt this TINY (microscopic, think San Francisco hotel, or single man who doesn't cook-small) unit was MORE than adequate for us-she stayed on the pull-out futon couch thing, I in the "room." Be advised: this is SMALL, the kitchen is enough for ONE adult to stand in. But when on a Paris vacation, you prob won't be having dinner parties or trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner-but instead just need a place to eat off plates once in a while, and store some water/snacks in the dormitory sized frig. This apt is NOT for less-than-able-bodied individuals as there is no lift, but for we two middle aged non-athletes, we were fine. It is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The owners have great communication, and our contact person/manager was very kind. Highly recommended for a couple, or perhaps one adult and two small children. Any more humans than that, and you'd better all be thin and smell good!! We walked everywhere, all the way to the Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, D'Orsay, the Louvre, shopping, etc. Only took RER (train) once, just coz we were tired. Great vacation in great spot!!"

  • Location, location, location!

"My wife and I spent 8 wonderful days in this classy apartment in Le Marais. We were able to walk for miles and thus take in the sights in the heart of old Paris. Nearby Metro St. Paul facilitated travel a bit further away. Tons of good local bistros, especially Camille just 1 block away. Grocery stores and boulangeries also nearby. Warm and professional welcome from Patrick, and the concierge couple were warm, friendly and helpful in securing taxis as needed. Highly recommended!"
