Recent Paris Arr. 3 (Marais, Picasso Museum) reviews

  • Exceptional

"My husband and I chose this apartment for our first trip to Paris (to Europe at all), and could not have been more thrilled. The apartment entry was on the ground level of a courtyard in a historic building in the heart of the Marais. It was a perfect "home base" from which to enjoy the city. Though it was a splurge to reserve such a large apartment for two people, we were so happy with our choice."

  • Unbeatable location

"We stayed four nights at this apartment and quite enjoyed it. The location is excellent and an easy walk to many Paris attractions. There are countless shops and restaurants nearby and we made good use of them. The apartment is clean and very well-equipped, but needs some newer, more comfortable furniture...after a long day of walking it's a must. It is very quiet and we had great sleeps - beds and linens were perfect. The apartment has a great Paris feel to it. The rental process was organized and efficient. We have been to Paris many times and would definitely stay in this apartment again."

  • Neat apartment

"The apartment is modern and well presented and a good size for a Paris apartment While it slept 3 adults, one on a sofa bed in the living room it is probably better suited for 2 adults and perhaps a child if a long stay is planned. The single bedroom is generous and the living space while compact is comfortable if the sofa bed is not down. The separate kitchen is well equipped. Being on the ground floor the apartment tends to be a bit dark and there is only one window in the kitchen which can be opened. The weather was mild for our stay so the apartment was quite cool and the fans supplied kept the air circulated. The apartment is well located in Le Marais within walking distance to major sightseeing sights and close to a Metro station. Lydia was very helpful and arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and taken to and shown around the apartment."

  • Very charming, and bright studio in the Marais!

"I really enjoyed my stay in "le Petit Bretagne". It is a charming studio in a quiet courtyard in the heart of the Marais. It is located right off rue Bretagne with Cafe Charlot on the corner, Marché des Enfants Rouges, wine and grocery stores all in its vicinity. The studio has all the comforts - a nice bed, linens, tv, wifi, and fully equipped kitchen. I spent the day at the Louis Vuitton Foundation - highly recommend going there. I look forward to staying in this lovely studio again."
