Recent Paris Arr. 4 (Marais, Hotel de Ville) reviews

  • Wonderful location and apartment

"This was my husband's first trip abroad and I am so glad that we got to stay at this lovely apartment in the Marais district. It is close to the Seine, the Metro, bus stops and numerous restaurants. It was nice being able to spend time in the apartment, which is located in a courtyard with other apartments - very peaceful!- after a busy day of touring Paris. It was the perfect size and beautifully decorated. So much better than a hotel room. Having freshly brewed coffee each morning was so nice. Reasonably priced and very cozy. It was also so much fun shopping in the area - several grocery stores, bakeries, antique shops and more, all within a five or ten minute walk."

  • Beautiful apartment in a great location

"My wife and I were fortunate enough to get to spend four days in this lovely apartment. The host did an excellent job of running us through every aspect of how everything worked, local recommendations, etc. The apartment is located in the heart of the Marat and afforded us access to many of the major sites of Paris. I would recommend this location/facility to anyone."

  • Comfortable and convenient

"We stayed in the Rue Malher apartment in late October early November. Sarah and Emilie were very accommodating and helpful; Emilie welcomed us and answered our questions almost before we could ask them! The apartment is small but comfortable, and ingeniously organized. The courtyard is a nice feature, still pleasant to be in at that time of year as it is quite sheltered. The building is blissfully quiet, but if you want people and bustle you need only walk down to Saint Paul or step around the corner to the Rue des Rosiers. The metro is very convenient, however there is so much to do within a fifteen minute walk – shopping, galleries, museums, concerts, restaurants – you could have a great time in the area without going anywhere else. The whole area is full of energy but also has its quiet, still places, and we look forward to coming back on our next trip."
