  • Comfortable and convenient

"I spent four nights in the studio apartment traveling solo on my first visit to Paris. The location was perfect for siteseeing in the Latin Quarter. Notre Dame and Shakespeare and Company bookstore were within a five minute walk, even closer was the metro and RER. I took the hop on/hop off bus tour, and the stop was at Notre Dame, so catching the bus both days couldn't have been easier. The apartment itself was on a busy narrow pedestrian-only street with many busy restaurants, but after entering the courtyard to the apartment, you leave the noise from the street and climb a fairly easy winding stairway to the second floor. Anyone with mobility issues may have trouble, but the stairway added to the charm. The apartment is a studio, not large, but certainly a very good space for the price and location. The bed was comfortable, the little kitchen nook provides dishes, cutlery, a refrigerator, and microwave, and the bathroom was small but the shower was decent in size. I would suggest more, or heavier blankets for winter guests, but I definitely would stay here again."

  • Perfect Paris Apartment!

"A bouquet of red roses and a bottle of red wine awaited our arrival at this exceptional apartment steps away from the Rue Cler and the Eiffel Tower. Loved the cozy salon, and well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for a family of four (with two grown children). Antiques and silk curtains lent just the right touch of sophistication for our Paris visit. Thank you Stacey and Valerie! We loved our stay."

  • A Pleasant Stay at Jean Nicot

"I would recommend this apartment. It was centrally located and had all the comforts you would need for a short stay in Paris. I especially liked the towel warmer in the bathroom! Andrée and Olivier, the owners, were very helpful and attentive to questions and requests. Thank you to them both for a pleasant stay. Rose (Vancouver, Canada)"

  • Fell in love in Paris

"Our family fell head over heels in love with this apartment. The view was perfection, it had a subway station in front of the building, taxi stands across the street and another a block away, and it was spacious. The beds and pillows and comforters were also outstanding. There is a drawer of guides in the LR, cable TV, wifi, a large bath plus a water closet and a shower room, and a small kitchen. As another reviewer wrote the floors are wooden and older so best to wear slippers or shoes when walking around. The shower room's cold water did not work in the small sink or in the shower so we "showered" using the hand held shower head in the large bathtub, and while an inconvenience, it didn't really detract from the overall positive experience, but I did deduct one point for that. I would love to stay here again in the future and hope to soon."
