  • Best location in Paris

"We had the perfect week in Eric's studio which is ideally located in the middle of Paris, but just far enough away from the busier tourist areas. The garden was a delight to return to each day for a relaxing glass of wine. As the apartment was not facing the busy street it was quiet and peaceful which meant sleeping extremely well after walking many kilometers around Paris each day, a real bonus in Paris. We would certainly recommend this apartment."

  • Just as good the second time around...

"We loved it the first time, and were just as happy the second. The studio itself is spacious and well equipped. We enjoy some of its features, which after many Paris rentals, we find special: the large and separate kitchen with a convenient pass-through, an easy to use washing machine, a clothes rack with clothes pins, and lots of amenities which we don't use, like TV and phone. The heading for this studio is "location, location, location," and that couldn't be more accurate: you are in the middle of a lively, safe, semi-pedestrian tourist street loaded with restaurants and stores, 1 block from the metro, and within walking distance of practically everything you wish to see. Be prepared to enter into an old building, though, with narrow spiral stairs, and a very creative way of updating the plumbing facilities: the toilet/sink is one step down from the shower: both are in the hallway. Bring a night lite because there are several steps leading up into the kitchen/bedroom. Most of all, have fun - you are right smack in the middle if the most beautiful city in the world."

  • Location! Value! Service!

"This apartment is as advertised, and my mom, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay here. Follow the precise check-in/out instructions and you'll have no problem. The rooms are a bit smaller than the photos make them appear, but are still plenty large - especially the quiet main bedroom which faces an interior courtyard. The second bedroom (with either two single beds or the beds combined into one large bed) faces the street, is noisier, and seems a bit smaller. The layout is funky - the kitchen and living areas are a hallway apart - but it certainly worked well for us. Beds are a bit low and soft, and bring your own washcloth if you care about that. The water pressure was fine, though hot water wasn't overly abundant...just be quick about your shower. You want to be out in the city anyway! The location, on St Severin, is spectacular for those wanting to be on the Left Bank near Notre Dame and just a short walk from the Louvre. The St. Michel metro is very nearby, making access from either airport super easy. Lots of to-go food right outside the door, along with cafes, a small supermarket a block away, and a wine shop. Though there is street noise into the second bedroom, you'll sleep like a baby if you wear earplugs and an eyemask (the curtains are not room darkening). Merci, Jean-Noel. This was perfect for our stay - highly recommend for two couples or a family with kids. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • convenient, comfortable, responsive owner

"The flat is very nice and just what we needed, especially for proximity to Gare D'Austerlitz. Comfortable, convenient, clean, well organized just-right space. Any questions or needs were promptly addressed by owner & greatly appreciated. Good neighborhood, quiet for sleeping. We hope to come back regularly to this flat."
